Location is at the end of street with bars, so it is a bit further, but still very close to town

- Lodge sits at one extreme of the village which takes a bit of time in walking distance to get back in the center. - They should improve their doors with sound proof ones. You hear everything from the corridors and vice versa I guess.

The Lodge is really nice and has a hotel flair. The staff is very friendly, Breakfast is good. They offer a laundry service which was in our case finished on the same day. :) the two most popular hikes Laguna Torre and Laguna de los Tres start right next to the lodge.

What I missed in the room was a fridge to store the groceries for the upcoming hikes.

Perfect location to start all the hikes, as it is located right at the trail entrance! Great staff, rooms and sandwich service!

We stayed here for five days and it was really great! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff is lovely and they were very helpful and had great recommendations for us for hikes and food. Good breakfast and laundry service. Would love to come here again some day!

Extremely friendly stuff working in Pudu Lodge. You can fell there like at home. Stuff is helping with some tips for hiking experience and about the village. If you go to El Chalten for hiking it's also perfectly located, very close to start of the 2 main trails. And still within walkable distance to restaurants.

I got to this hotel a little bit earlier than the check in. I was so exhausted because of the long hour bus, about a whole day. And the staff was considerate so that my room could be prepared quickly. really appreciated it. The room view was beautiful. The wifi was terrible. But it’s ordinary in El Chalten. If I travel el Chalten again, I definitely come back.

Great location -- super close to the entrance to Sendero de Fitz Roy, like literally a 2 minute walk. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Sofia (at the front desk) was awesome and answered all of my questions. The breakfast was top-notch and the rooms were comfy and toasty warm. The shower was great and beds were cozy too. The internet was pretty good for El Chalten, which is notorious for little to no internet or wifi.

Staff at Pudu were great and really helpful, especially Sophia. Helped us plan our hikes, refill our bottles, had coffee ready early as we were going on a sunrise hike, even sent a taxi to chase me down at the station after I left my camera at the lodge!
