The shared bathroom, no warm water etc.

For a solo traveler, this place is just wonderful. Although i would recommend having a car to travel around. The neighborhood is just great. Super calm, and you got all the necessary stuff around. A Carrefour, McDonald's, kfc and burger King are just around the corner. The manager of the place is just awesome. Super helpful, and he speaks English, so that's always a plus :) All in all, i would recommend this place to any solo traveler.

Would be a plus to have a washing machine put in place. Perhaps some sound proofing as well, since i can hear my next door neighbor quite loudly, and the cleaning lady in the morning always woke me up with her stroller thingy.

I had a horrible experience in that place. I was supposed to stay 3 nights, but on the first night, around 11pm, there was no electricity. I tried to reach the owner by phone, but it was useless. I knocked on a neighbor's door to get help but nobody cared about staying in the dark.After a while I see him coming, with a charge of anger and hatred towards me ... he yelled at me and insulted me in all ways that didn't I had to wake up the customers while he was waking them up with his inhuman screams. Frightened, I left the structure at midnight, in an industrial district far from everything. I don't recommend anyone to go there.

The water in the bathroom/shower wasn't always hot

There is lack of ventilation. The hostel smelt of tobacco. In the evenings you could tell people had been smoking. I could smell and see smoke in the corridor. The smell of tobacco in my non smoking room was really intense and it wasn't possible to get fresh air. The cleanliness was fair. The cleaner will clean regularly and the staff was attentive, but the smell of tobacco and the lack of ventilation made me feel very uncomfortable. I would recommend this place if it wasn't for the smell of tobacco and the lack of ventilation.
