The hotel is in a good location, especially if your room sees the stunning view facing Gavea rock along with Sao Conrado beach. The only downside is that you will bear a little bit more cost of daily Taxi/Uber to all the main city attractions compared with a more centrally located hotel. The metro station isn't far indeed, but it is very close to a rough area (Rocinha Favella). A police car stays in front of the hotel main entrance at all times, which adds to the feel of safety during the stay/pickup and drop off times.

Despite the high cost of stay in a junior suite, the AC sound is really loud and the sliding toilet door was broken. I reported the faulty door three times but we were simply ignored. When we arrived, we had one little bottle of shampoo and one conditioner for both of us. We were only provided more with some body lotion when we called the room service. No shower slippers or shower gel available, only soap bars. No shower robes are provided to rooms without a bath tub which is really pathetic. At the end of breakfast buffet, I reported to a member of staff that the big dispensing ice water container seems to gave sediments and I showed them 6 water glasses having white stuff in them (empty glasses appeared visually clean). He apologised, removed the container and no replacement was offered which made me very sceptical about the level of cleanliness in the kitchen or the source of the water offered in the breakfast buffet. We didn't like the breakfast and dinner in the hotel overall, in terms of taste and variability/options. Staff on the customised Tapioca/Eggs section can be more friendly. However, MASI was really a very good experience. We had dinner there twice and I would highly recommend. After breakfast, there are designated members of staff meant to be taking a quick verbal survey from customers on daily basis about their stay and if there are concerns. Everything I reported to them, including the faulty suite toilet door, were not actioned. Therefore, it is a clearly useless show/exercise and a complete waste of the guests time. It is sad as I believe that this hotel, with its design and location, is a great asset and has a much better potential.

El desayuno podría variar un poco más, ya que después de 3 días desayunando exactamente lo mismo uno se aburre y estando allí 12 días fue difícil querer desayunar allí todos los días. Una variedad diferente por lo menos dos veces en la semana sería buena

El internet del hotel podría ser mejor ya que era dificil sincronizar con las tvs y la señal para las llamadas en el teléfono era débil. Hubo 3 noches que ligué para pedir el jantar en el cuarto y nadie atendió, tuvo e que bajar y pedir directamente en restaurante para después ellos subirla.

A vista e a localização são ótimas. As comodidades do hotel são excelentes.

Senti falta de mais toalhas no quarto e o café da manhã estava muito desorganizado faltava fluxo.

Nada me gustó! La primera habitación tenía una horrible distribución y además pulgas por lo que pedimos que nos cambien de habitación. Además no había toalla de manos ni de piso. Al quejarnos Nos trajeron una y en malísimo estado y la del piso era una toalla cortada. Las sábanas de la segunda habitación todas agujereadas. Un horror todo! El desayuno un desastre!

Passei um fim de semana prolongado para comemorar meu aniversário. O quarto e muito bom. Hotel pé na areia só atravessar a rua e fornece toalha para levar para praia. A piscina muito boa com bar que serve drinks maravilhosos vi muita reclamação sobre preço caro de bebida e comida mas está no padrão.

Quando reservei fiquei preocupada pois li algumas avaliacões ruins sobre o hotel mas ainda bem que eu não desisti gostei muito. Realmente já na chegada tem funcionário convidando para a tal palestra recusei e pronto.

La ubicación y el servicio de alimentación están bien. El hotel está limpio y bien cuidado. La piscina y playa ayudan mucho al ambiente. Es un lugar óptimo para familias y la gente que va por trabajo también tiene cabida.

El kids club puede mejorar, las chicas que atienden se involucran poco y la seguridad adentro es baja. El personal deja mucho que desear dado que no hablan español ni inglés, en general son poco atentos y serviciales: pedimos 3 veces que trajeran toallas, luego lo mismo para un secador de pelo y así…se demoran en todo.
