I liked the room as it was spacious and cosy. Also the breakfast was gorgeous

Parking at the rear is limited to 8 vehicles and you can also get blocked in. They do take the keys off people that are blocking you in if they need to let you out. The breakfast said thick sausages but the was rather thin compared to normal size sausages

Good location within walking distance of historic sites. Friendly staff, comfortable room with excellent shower pressure, and generous breakfasts.

Couldn't fault this great value accommodation.

The noise from roadside traffic was horrendous, the parking is just as bad and has no cctv and our car was badly damaged Tom the landlord was the only person with our key totally useless and scurried away as not to answer any questions, breakfast looked like everything was on top of each other like somebody has scrapped all the leftovers together, less is better sometimes, wouldn’t recommend and certainly wouldn’t stay again.

Sound proof windows less on the plate so it doesn’t look like leftovers cctv in the car park and more room in the car park was for too small, irresponsible host.

Location was great for walking to the sights

staff were very pleasant and helpful was able to park the car before we checked in which was a great bonus rooms were very clean free coffee rooms cleaned every day breakfast was good varied choices of cooked, cereals, juice etc great location for city centre great price too

unfortunately our radiator in the bedroom didn’t work on a freezing cold night lead to an uncomfortable sleep and the shower was just luke warm which is a shame as room was cosy and bed great, tried to find someone at the time but couldn’t

Location. Breakfast was an absolute delight. I did leave my dressing gown there, phoned to ask if was still there, told they would look into it and call me back. Didn’t receive the call,disappointed.

Huge bedroom, massive bed and exceptional breakfast. Very clean and comfortable. So close to the city walls and free parking. Covered outside area was a bonus. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We have stayed at numerous bed and breakfasts in York and this one has really made our stay a fantastic one.

If I had to pick at something it would be the curtains! They were not quite wide enough for the window and let light in from the sides but did not affect our stay. Probably as they are on sash windows.

The staff, particularly Izzy, were excellent. Very attentive and kind. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and oat milk was offered as an alternative to cow's milk - fantastic!

The room was small, built into the roof so had sloping sides. Claustrophobic. Bathroom cramped. Not worth the money.

快適に過ごせました。お部屋もファンシーで可愛いです、海外の宿ということを考えると十分清潔だったと思います。毎日、水と紅茶、コーヒーなどをお部屋においてくれています。 朝食付きですが、朝食は自分で取りに行くバイキング形式ではなく、スタッフさんにオーダーする形式で新鮮でした。無限に食べられます。

無料WiFiが欲しかったです。 駅からのアクセスは、そんなに良くないかもしれませんが、歩いて観光に行けます。 少し遠いですが、大学にも徒歩でいける範囲です。

Room were fine, only small problem was the shower, getting in, as I am fat and the opening smallish. Quite difficult to turn off. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. Really good choice of beers.

Apart from the small shower problem, nothing not to like.
