I loved Phong Nhà the whole area is so beautiful and interesting history. This home stay was so nice. They were really helpful with ideas of what to do. They helped me book the next part of my trip to Hue. The pool is beautiful and so relaxing. The restaurants close by also have helpful staff and lovely food. I will definitely return soon to try the cave hiking next time.

Spacious room. The staff booked the sightseeing activities on my behalf (which is standard in this line of business). It was ok, there are many restaurants around.

It sure did not feel as luxurious as the pictures indicate. There were blood stains on the walls (likely from dead insects). But the room was clean overall. The bathroom is designed in such a way that, if you take a shower, the entire bathroom's floor (toilet & sink) is wet. There was some insanely loud music coming from a close-by karaoke. The breakfast was really unremarkable.

Perfectly located in the centre of the town. loads of restaurants available and located right near the boat ramp for transfer to the caves.

No elevator. Towels were paper thin. No PowerPoint to plug the TV into.

The Homestay staff was very friendly and happy to help. The room was clean and the location was central. Bicycle rental. Pickup service from and back to dong hoi train station was perfect as well. Even during tet holiday

We loved our stay with Linh and Bon Bon the cute dog. Linh is super helpful and informative! Our room had awesome big windows on two sides overlooking the pool and the cliffs in the back. The TV is huge with Netflix. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good and hot. Central location and close to where the bus drops everyone off.

We liked everything! The night bus arrived around 3:00 am and Linh was there to greet us. I read some other reviews from travelers bragging they get to check in at 3am and have a free night. We feel this is taking advantage of Linh, he already has to wake up every night at 3am to greet travelers, he’s way too nice and doesn’t charge them. We happily paid for the night and only think it’s fair, so maybe ask yourself the same question.

Staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for us, nothing was a problem. Great local knowledge of the area and onward transport options. Room was lovely with a stunning view of the mountains and the pool was very refreshing. Bikes and motorbikes available to rent, Netflix on the TV. Laundry was done for us really quickly - they even washed and dried our trainers! Breakfast was tasty, even had a Banh Mi waiting for us to take on our 7am bus to Hue. Couldn't speak any higher of this place, best place we've stayed in Vietnam!

This is an amazing homestay. The host was very helpful and welcoming. He picked us up from the airport for an extra fee, gave us recommendations for travel, tours and food. The accommodation is great, our room was clean and that bathrooms were good. Highly recommend staying here.

The room was a bit cold, another blanket or warmer probably could have solved it. Other than this, everything else was perfect!

Lính and his family were wonderful, helpful and friendly hosts. This homestay is in a fantastic location at the base of the mountains, in central Phong Nha, close to food and shops. So peaceful and fresh after being in the bustle of the big cities - the perfect antidote. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Phong Nha. Also the coffee and breakfast prepared by Thai Nguyen Homestay was great 😀

Staff were amazing, so so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing as possible. the views of the mountains are incredible and would recommend this place to anyone. they also have the cutest dog that makes the stay even better.

The Homestay is central located. The rooms are huge with incredible mountain view. Very clean. WiFi works all over the property. Breakfast was simple but good. The loaner bikes were a great addition. Linh was fantastic so I ended booking an extra night. He booked a bus for me and also a motorbike with driver to take me to see caves and the Botanical Garden. Bon Bon, the resident dog, has a great personality and was the first to greet me when I arrived in the early hours of the morning.

Out time in Koh Phong was lovely. Linh was an excellent host. We arrived earlier then expected on our night bus (4am). Linh let us check in super early to our room which was so great and unexpected. We went straight back to sleep. The property is very clean. The pool area is great. It’s in a great location, close to good cafes, restaurants. (The Bahn Mi place across the road is so good). Linh rented us a scooter and gave us some really honest advice for the area so we weren’t wasting our time there. Bon Bon the house dog is my favourite dog in Vietnam! Linh offered to take us for a local dinner on our last night which was so lovely and great. His English is fantastic so it was nice to ask a few questions about the area. Loved staying here.

Host was very helpful and accommodating, always responsive and offered to organise tours, bus’s and renting a scooter. He also picked us up late at night when it was pouring down with rain! The room had a lovely view and they have a very cute dog!

The room is spacious and clean. There’s towels and good blankets. I liked how you wake up next to a mountain which was right beside the homestay. Linh was friendly and helpful and is good at communicating.

Breakfast is ok, don’t expect much. There is no good social spaces to meet fellow travelers. Often times the front desk is unattended but they are responsive over text.

The room was the best we could imagine, easy on first floor overlooking the pool and the limestone mountain face and garden. We were able to leave our window blind open all day with complete privacy, giving the room lots of natural light and comfort on rest times. The room had a couch for reading and the room was big. Breakfast was lovely with fresh foods, and we were able to have breakfast outdoors at poolside. The whole place was always spotless, but we did not expect daily cleaning of our room, we preferred to be low maintenance guests. Th e pool was fantastic to have on site especially after a hard day's bike riding! We used the pool every day. Phong Nha deserves tourism support, it is such a lovely relaxed town with everything you need, no crowds, and delightful countryside and national park. The bike trips on the backroads are all do-able for everyone of all ages.

Linh responded in polite and helpful way with our questions, but sometimes it might be helpful to have lists and menus on display so that guests know exactly what is available on arrival.

A super comfortable and clean homestay. Linh was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Having the pool to cool off in at the end of the day was great. Really cannot recommend Linh and his homestay enough!

This is a lovely homestay run by Mr Linh who was so kind and helpful. He picked me up from the bus stop at 3:15 am which was when my sleeper bus arrived and provided me with a room until check in time. He provided advice on where to eat and go and when I discussed my sprained ankle with him he recommended I should not do the Paradise Cave tour as I would not cope with the walking. Although I was very disappointed with not being able to do the tour, I made use of the beautiful pool directly in front of a karst; the position is amazing. To use the pool in the evening with the jungle plants around, hearing the frogs and bats was incredibly luxurious. Breakfast was fine with decent choices. I intend on staying here again when I return to do the tour.

Lin was a great host, very helpful. The pool was lovely and private and the view from the room was very pretty.

Comfortable, clean, great location right next to one of the karst mountains. Nice little pool out back to hang out by. Run by nice family. Cute dog. Low key and no big frills but just what you need in Phong Nha. I’d recommend it.

Amazing staff who facilitated a very late check in for us and a very early departure. They organised tours and buses for us. The room was perfect and pool is very nice. And we LOVE the dog Bon Bon!

Lihn is absolutely the best. He cannot do enough to help you out & make your stay the best ever. He is the main reason that this Homestead is the best I've ever stayed in. Very open, very helpful, great english and such a sincere customer first approach. His Dad was very outstanding and helpful too! GREAT SERVICE PUTS THEM ABOVE THE CROWD!!!!! The room was excellent too - beautiful corner room overlooking both the mountains and the swimming pool The bed was great, the bathroom was good - lots of hot water and overall the entire unit was very spacious. Fans and A/C made the stay quite comfortable!!

The bus stopped directly in front of the Homestay which can be arranged by the host. In general, the host was super helpful with our tour planning, renting a scooter and arranging stand-up paddling on the river (one of our Phong Nha highlights).

Surfaces in bathroom could’ve been cleaner and some sun beds at the pool need maintenance.

Friendly host and very helpful in booking tours and the continuing bus connection! Within walking distance to the Phong Nha boat station and the popular Bamboo restaurant.

A kettel to boil water would have been an nice additional detail.

Very nice staff, perfect location. Nice swimming pool with several parts with different depths. according to my son, they can make the best cocoa for breakfast on Vietnam.
