On a short drive to the city center. Close to a beautiful lake and to a few walking trails. Washing machine with detergent for 4€ per load, but no dryer… !

The whole place has a feeling of Soviet style: run down in the room and public areas. Stained carpeting, plastic plants, average quality breakfast. Practically no one speaks a decent English but the cook, very practical when one needs to communicate with the front desk.

Hotel was peaceful. Restaurant closed fairly late, which was good after a long day on the road!

Would have been nice to have somewhere comfortable to sit with an after dinner drink

First receptionist was extremely friendly and nice. Parking spots are very near to the door. Breakfast was hefty, but basic and average tasting. Kept the hunger away for a long time. I was hoping for omelette or fried eggs. Boiled ones are too boring for me.

One receptionist did not speak Finnish very much, but got the job done. But it was awkward. Sound isolation on the rooms could be better. I could hear neighbour talking late in the night. And someone moaning across the hall...

The Beds and microwave and fridge

Some staff gave me mean looks and the room was freezing cold for some reason we also stayed before but it was in the summer they need to fix the thermostat

Good restaurant. Modest prices.

Hotel is located just the right amount from the road to not hear passing cars. Room was on the first floor facing parking lot and had a large window (lots of light), but it was very quiet outside and we had a great sleep. Probably bookable sauna helped too. Breakfast was nice as in most places in Finland. Staff was very helpful.

Sauna only had shower and not even a tiny pool to plunge into cold water. Not something "didn't you like", but I need to write something here, don't I?
