Pool and ambient

The pool did not appear to be recently cleaned so we didn’t go in it despite the heat.

Well located, the airco (once we switched rooms) and the more luxurious room had a semi hot shower, big bed and a couch, which was comfortable. Personnel spoke English and we were able to switch rooms after our first night :)

our first room was honestly a bit filthy. The bathroom was dirty, sand over the floor, multiple dead insects in shelves and mosquito net, didn’t seem clean, which is my main reason for it not being too comfortable. Second, bit more expensive chamber hoe erger, was much much cleaner! Pool needs thorough cleaning as well and some pillows on the day beds had quite a lot (and older) bird poo on them. Overal fine hotel but certain things need proper cleaning.

The sheets had weird marks and it should have been replaced. It stated in our Booking we would have had a quite room instead we got a room next to the reception. It was so loud that was not possible to sleep as the two partie was on during the whole night. Next morning the loud music started again at 7:30. In the room we had two fans but it was so hot it was not possible to exist. I slept on Top of a bunk bad and i thought I would die from the hit. It was not possible to move the fan and put in your direction as the cable was to short. Culmination point was when turned out we are late 15minutes for breakfest that was included in the price and when we asked if sth still could be preapared for us the lady said Big fat NO. We was not informed until what time the breakfest is served turned out that was until 9:30. If you like party and loud music for the whole night this place is for you then!

The hotel is really quiet, it has a swimming pool and the rooms are very nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The amount of time given to have breakfast is great and the location as well.

We had cockroaches in our first room, 10 of them. After speaking with the staff about it we got another room which was cockroach-free.

Restaurant closes very early…

Good location and nice pool. Great value.

The place mixes different things, they have their own restaurant, bakery and icecream shop. The prices are fair and the food tastes reaaly good.

There is a problem with flies when you are having any meals. I believe it is not a problem of the restaurant but the location per se, but if the restaurant could do something about it, it would be great.

good location and nice staff. mosquito net in the room which is appreciated as the room is more of a bungalow thus insects more prone to get in. I was allowed chill at the pool all day after my check out, which was nice.

the drain to my bathroom got blocked which caused a bad smell which made things a bit unpleasant. Pool is quite small.

Nice pool, beautiful garden and friendly, helpful staff. despite being in the thick of it it’s a quiet place, easy to sleep. The coffee and pizzas are excellent. Prices are in line with other similarly pitched hotels and restaurants.

The staff is not that nice, specially the kitchen girls. We are vegetarians and the breakfast that was included is never mentioned before so they served us eggs with ham and almost didn’t wanted to make new eggs even tough they were included and they never mentioned it had meat. Finally we had to talk to the manager and she helped us. Also there was a power outage that lasted almost 3 days, we were unable to shower that much in the property which was very inconvenient. You can also hear almost everything at night as the bars are really near.

The place is great. It is located on the main road to the beach and restaurants. The hotel boasts tranquility and do not allow outside music in their public areas. Although our room was right on the main road, it was still completely silent at night. Two minute walk down the road and you're in the party area. We really liked the location. Breakfast were great. The restaurant had excellent pizzas (some of the best we had in Colombia) and there is a welcome cocktail upon arrival. They offer WiFi in the public areas as well as laundry services for cheap (8,000 COP per kilo). It is about a 5-10 min walk down to the beach which was very beautiful. Not many people and it was easy to find your own private area on the beach. We loved Palomino and the vibe of the town. Definitely check out an indigenous community while you are there and if you want a private beach go to Las Gaviotas. Easy to get a bus to Palomino from Santa Marta and back. As well as taking a bus to Tayrona Park.

The room was a little small for our family and all of our bags. The mosquito netting didn't quite fit the double bed at night.

Nice place, good beds and Nice common area. not the nicest staff in the kitchen.
