The facilities and location were great as a base for walking in the area.

Perfect little cottage with two decent sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Living room was cosy with a log fire. Extra bonus, a downstairs loo. Kitchen was well equipped and stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, bread, milk and beans for our arrival - a lovely touch as the village has no shop. Parking off road at the rear is available. We were able to arrive in our own time as we were sent a code to access the keys which really suited us. Everything was quiet and peaceful. Cottage was well situated for lots of locations in the Peak District .

Just one small fix...the extractor fan in the bathroom (one with the bath) had these flaps on the exterior which were noisy when it was windy

Beautiful location. Lovely enclosed garden ideal for a small-medium sized dog. Absolutely loved loved loved the private meadow- as did our little pugs! Tracey was absolutely lovely and so helpful- the milk and bread etc... was much appreciated after the long drive there. Plenty of local information in the cottage. Fab pub at the end of the street serving delicious food and dogs are welcome :)

Spring mattress not very comfortable and the metal bed frame made a significant amount of noise just when rolling over or getting into bed.

The cottage was cosy and very clean throughout, loved the woodburner and jacuzzi bath, nice countryside walks from the cottage.

The garden furniture could do with updating as nothing was matching. No chopping board in kitchen.

What a lovely little place, thankyou for a great stay! Communication before arrival was thorough, and key collection very straight forward.. The house is lovely, spotlessly clean, and lots of thoughtful extras. A stroll in the meadow at sunset was a treat too. Close to lots of beautiful walks and local towns. Will definately stay again!

Honestly, I can't think of anything!

The property was prepared for us with the heating, lights on and the milk, bread etc. This felt every welcoming. The cottage is homely and just right for our little get away. The things you put in place for been Covid safe made us feel safe. It’s a lovely cottage and we would visit again.

Not much as it was pretty near perfect. However we found a couple of sweets under the bed in the bedroom with the bath, a piece of food in the groove under oven door and the bbq had old charcoal lift in. (We did bring our own Bbq to use, so not a problem) We left these things as we found them but tidied everything else as asked.
