We were late checking in …11pm…and it would have been helpful if someone was at reception rather than going to a noisy bar

It was clean newly painted and the bed was smashing All in all a great stay

Everything and the hotel restaurant service and meals were excellent.

It was my second stay and although all other needs were meant it was the second time we did not receive cups and saucers to make a cup of tea with the teabags. When we went to reception it was 9am and then again 9.30 reception wasn't manned and the cleaner couldn't understand what we needed so had to forgo the cuppa again. Other than that it was a little hard to find parking as this is limited.

The location and the size of the room.

The bed was uncomfortable. Nowhere to use the kettle, so had to have in the bathroom. Also cleaner never took away rubbish, changed coffee cups or replenished supplies. There were never any staff at reception to raise these concerns with.

Everything was great.

One guy was very very rude at the bar in the evening, made us was to change venues. I’ve never been served by such a rude person before, almost ruined my night. All other staff were wonderful.

Pleasantly surprised that the hotel was well furnished and extremely comfortable. Not what was expected from a ‘pub’ room.

Omg the room was amazing!!! We were both blown away! So much room, right above the main shops, we are definitely staying here again!!!

The hotel was surprisingly comfortable. I enjoyed my stay greatly.

The location is great, close to the water, shops and cafes and plenty of nice walks. We love this area and it was great being central to everything! The accommodation is good value for money and comfortable. We didn’t have a room with a view (the windows opened to the back of the pub so we kept them shut) but that was fine as we were out most of the time and I hadn’t requested anything specific. The air con was great too.

Lovely, clean, spacious rooms. We had a bay room with water view. Would highly recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spacious room. Excellent location.

Poor lighting in bathroom. And no mirrors anywhere else in the room - if the bathroom is in use, difficult to get ready for the day without any other mirrors.

no service, dirty bathroom, generally unclean, associated restaurant was disorganised and food was poor quality, menu did not match their online menu.
