The bedroom was very comfortable and loved the added extra of fresh milk and filtered water in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Very good breakfast selection. As a lone traveller felt very safe and welcome.

Well presented period property, very homely and welcoming. Right on the bottom of Ocean Road and next to all amenities we needed (pubs and restaurants).

Only thing was the curtains would benefit from a blackout lining as the street lights and tree lights outside were very bright.

This was a last minute decision to stay because we needed to be in the area for work. You know that relief when places look as good in real life as they do on the app? That was this. :) When I say impeccably clean, I mean impeccably clean. Our room was beautifully presented, well equipped (including tea, coffee, fresh milk, filter coffee and a fridge), comfortable and had some lovely little extras. I was with my 7 year old and she was made to feel welcome, was served with the best pancakes in the morning and she slept very well (a rarity for her ;) ). The hosts were just lovely: to be greeted with “Come and go as if you were at home” is always going to be a winner and both their chat and their manner was lovely. Breakfast: fantastic. Location was great: 2 minutes walk from the swimming pools, 5 minutes from the nearest beach, with restaurants, takeaways and cafes in abundance. We won’t hesitate to book again if we are in the area. Thank you!

Only niggle was the single room was very small but for 1 or 2 nights it is ok.

Everything in the guest house is of a high quality and the breakfasts are amazing !

Janet and Peter were excellent hosts. The breakfast was delicious and very substantial. My room was very comfortable and clean with an excellent shower. Some lovely extras like chocolates, milk and water in the room.

My room was three floors up (33 stairs) which was a bit of a struggle for me. However, Peter quickly helped me with my bags both on arrival and departure and Janet assured me if I come again they'll give me a room on the first floor!

Lovely, freshly cooked breakfast. Good location for metro. Parking wasa problem, had to drive round for a while looking for a space.

Didn't feel welcomed, despite positive reviews. Decided it was because we had the baby (6) months old who was completely ignored for the duration of our stay. Clearly not baby friendly.

Everything. Janet looked after me so well. Highly recommend this place to stay. Room had luxury hotel finishing touches u wouldn't expect in a guesthouse. Breakfast also excellent. Parking nearby, so handy for drivers.
