We enjoyed our stay at the HUGE house in Bracey. Everything is accurate regarding the post. I would say there are some improvements to safety I'd suggest. The stairs leading to the porch has a huge 3 foot hole on the side, a small child could easily fall through. There were nemerous nails on the dock that needed to be nailed down. One of the bouy's came loose as it was old and floated away. There are other signs of wear and tear on the house but we managed just fine. Great location, neighborhood dock was super close, gas station/coffee shop close by. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of room and fun was had in the basement with the pool table and firepit. Overall a good stay, minor improvements suggested.

Plenty of space available…overall a nice property to enjoy quit time, however I would strongly recommend to change the cleaning crew. The kitchen was not clean at all, dirt was on the counters, floor and cabinets.

Love location of property to the lake. Coming down dock ladder you can stand up. Going around dock it becomes deeper and can enjoy paddling in a tube, be on a raft or start swimming. The house is spacious and offers the amenities as listed. Would be great to have a ladder at the deep end and the existing ladder needs to be replaced. Very wobbly and hard to get up.

My friends and I reserved this property for a quick reunion/fishing trip. There were plenty of beds and the view of the water was amazing! You can fish right from the pier and catch some pretty big catfish.

Our group spans a good part of the east coast with guys traveling from Savannah up to Long Island once a year to meet up. This location was ideal in that it could accommodate everyone comfortably and had plenty of room for parking our vehicles. The house was clean and spacious. The views were great. The property was a very peaceful.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. The location on the main lake was amazing. Everyday we swam and went kayaking. We did bring our own inflatable kayaks, there was a kayak and cano provided, but we didn't use them. The house was great, although there were a few things that could use deep cleaned or updated. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We all had a great time.

The house was great for our family. Very comfortable. Loved the lake and dock for swimming as well as canoe and kayak. The kids could touch bottom in the water on the near side of the dock but deep enough to dive on the far side of the dock. Gates on the stairways on the upper deck keep little ones safe. We brought our own floaties but there were also a few there. Additional fridge in laundry room was helpful.

Nice property but not real clean and many factors needed to be fixed. Missing light bulbs, loose banister on steps to the basement, loose or uneven boards on the stairs leading to the deck and on the deck. Just needs some minor upkeep.

We had a lot of fun! The house is decorated so nicely with furniture, wall hangings and other mementos. The upstairs master bedroom area is very cool. And the pool table was very enjoyable. Love the great room. A couple of the mattress pads in the lower level were gross and the floor down there made our bare feet black. Would love to have had a ladder on the outside end of the dock.

This was a perfect spot to reconnect with friends. Nice lake view from deck to relax, kitchen was accommodating for cooking, fire pit at night and sitting on the dock overlooking the lake was peaceful. Owner was responsive and helpful.

We had a great time. Plenty of room for everyone and a beautiful quiet part of the lake. Lots of stairs but that's lake life. Swimming was excellent! The owner was very responsive to all my questions. I would say it was a deal with the cost but I'd be afraid he would raise the price :). Fun place to just kick back and watch the grandkids.

Fit our family lake vacation needs perfectly. Plenty of bedrooms and space. Dock space was plentifull for two jet skis and a pontoon boat. Had a lake matress and the had plenty of room to float and let kids swim and play. Kids caught tons of fish off the deck with glow worms :) Location on lake is great. Close by gas station/marina convenient. 20 min ride to Shady Shack and short run around point for sunset rides in the evening:) There are a bunch of steps down to the water, but its not that bad. Great place to launch kids for water skiing, knee boarding, wake boarding and jet skiing. We had a great experience!!

The whole family loved the location, space and amenities offered. Communication with host was good, and the documentation provided about the house was detailed and clear. This is our second time staying at Michael’s place. This house is absolutely PERFECT for a big family. Our kids spend the whole week jumping off the dock, shooting pool, and riding scooters and bikes. The adults love the openness of the kitchen and the newly renovated beautiful deck that is perfect for reading or enjoying the lake view. The awning on the deck is also great! We will be back next year and we are already counting down the days!

Lovely home and enough rooms for everyone. Kids enjoyed canoeing, fishing (all but one caught at least one fish) and swimming. Weather was wonderful and it was very enjoyable sitting on the deck watching the lake.

Stayed 6 days over father's day weekend and had a great time with family (14 total) from Virginia and the midwest, ages ranging from 4 to 69. Good amount of stairs on the property to keep in mind. Plenty of parking, we had seven vehicles total. Great shallow area close to dock for floating and wading. Kids had a great time searching for clam shells. We had kayaks and paddle boards that were great to go up and down the shoreline. We rented a pontoon and jet ski for a day from 8 miles down the lake, half hour by water, and had plenty of room to tie up on the dock. Afternoon sun is blocked by the boat house on the dock and made for great lounging and watching the kids play, bring your favorite lawn chairs! House needs some updates but everything worked, the listing is accurate, bedrooms are nice sized and couldn't beat the price compared to other rentals this time of year.

It was a great few days with the family! We wish we could have stayed longer. Bringing our own linens was a pain but we knew about that ahead of time. It would have been nice to have soap in the bathrooms and there wasn’t enough dishwasher soap for our stay so we needed to find a store to purchase that. But overall we had a nice time.

We were celebrating the graduation of my youngest daughter. We live locally but my family is from KY and it was so much nicer to rent a house and stay all together than a hotel room with all the coming and going. We have homeschooled her all 12 years and she graduated in Richmond at the Home Educators Association of Virginia at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Being that close to I 85 was great.
The house had plenty of room for all 9 of us. The lake view is beautiful, and it was very quiet on that end of the lake. We truly enjoyed the house. It had everything we could ask for and more.

My mother in law rented this for us for a long weekend. We had a wonderful time together at the house. There was plenty of room for all 13 of us. The dock was great for swimming and kayaking and the use of the property canoe was a bonus. Everything we needed in the kitchen to cook with was a huge bonus.

The house could use a deep professional cleaning. There was heavy dust and cobwebs throughout the home. One of our guest included a fire chief and he was concerned with the missing smoke alarms in the home.
Other than the concerns noted, the home allowed for a decent stay and a great time on the lake. The owner was very responsive and answered our questions in a quick manner.

Our first trip with our granddaughter (3 months old) and a fantastic week for all 10 of us. The house is set perfectly with bedrooms on three floors. We had one issue and Wendy and Mike were very quick to respond. The pool table is great and got a lot of use. But the decks and dock are where we spent the majority of our time. We sat, talked, laughed and floated for hours each day. Rented a pontoon boat for one day and pulled up to the dock to pick everyone up. Perfect day mid week.

My family found the home and the location to be excellent. The home is very welcoming, home like and plenty of room. The billiards table is a nice touch!! The beach/dock area was very nice. The climb up the stairs from the dock to the house is gradual and easy to do. We had a great time!!!

Excellent Rental on the Water
We had a fantastic stay! There was more than enough for the 7 of us that stayed. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you can think of for cooking. Cabinets were filled with plates, glasses and utensils.
We spent a lot of time on the deck so the awning was nice addition we weren’t expecting. Definitely recommend staying here. We hope to again next year!

We had 10 people 7 adults and 3 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. Having 3 full baths was great. The home was extremely nice and fully stocked with everything you needed. I would definitely rent this home again.
