We had such a good time! So much space and so much for the kids to do……they loved it!! Owners were super to work with.

We rented this house for an extended family getaway and couldn’t have been happier! The house is so spacious and well laid out. There are plenty of places to be all together or to have quiet time inside and out. The pool table, ping pong table, theater room, and air hockey table provided hours of fun for our family. We were impressed by the kitchen’s stock of utensils, plates, serving ware, small appliances, and pretty much anything and everything we could have needed. By far, the best we’ve seen. There are two dishwashers and sinks, which freed us from spending much time hand washing dishes and being in each others’ way. The view of Lake Gaston is breathtaking! The grounds, lake access, and pier add to all of the great amenities inside the house. We made so many wonderful memories on this trip and would absolutely stay again!

My friends and I traveled here for our Fall Break from college for a simple retreat and it had everything we could have wanted. The hosts were phenomenal and made it such a seamless process and the property was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this property to people looking for a nice relaxing weekend!

We highly recommend this house. Ophelia came through and made Saturday a complete washout, but there was so much to do in this house and the house was so nice to hang out in as a group beautiful open concept, spacious living area, and plenty of room for the kids to go elsewhere to get away from the adults. Pool table, ping pong and tons of board games and just some good old fashioned porch sitting made rainy day a great day. The owners were very nice and responses. We have no complaints.

The house was big enough to accommodate all 20 of us. It was clean when we arrived, and everything was as stated in the listing. The owners were very helpful and answered my questions quickly. The location was on a quiet cove and the kids enjoyed the lake. Good location for a family get away!

The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The owner quickly responded to all questions and was friendly and helpful. One thing to be aware of if the bunk area is not a separate room but an open space connected to the theater room that is a pass though to the downstairs. It is not conducive to light sleepers. Overall my family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house.

Not much else around here, but the house has a lot to offer that makes it not matter much. Lots of things for the kids to do and lots of elbow room for the adults. The kids bunk beds are more or less in the hallway so it isn’t private and quiet at all but the boys were so tired from swimming that it didn’t matter either. Kitchen is very well equipped.

. This home was exactly as it was advertised. Big, spacious, plenty of beds and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. We had a fun and relaxing week. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

If there is such a thing as a perfect place for a family vacation, this is it. We have three married daughters who came with their husbands and kids. We have 6 grandsons and 2 granddaughters, the oldest is 25, the youngest, 15. (One adult granddaughter was not able to come because of a commitment for work) The sleeping arrangements worked out well. The four "families" take turns preparing a dinner, one night we got take out. This year we bought it at El Huasteco and really liked it. Thursday was leftover night. One son-in-law brought his boat. He put it in the water at the nearby marina and was able to use your slip. It worked out perfectly and we enjoyed countless boat rides, Your paddleboat and trampoline were enjoyed immensely by the grandkids and their parents while one grandson caught a nice bass off of the deck. On Wednesday night, a grandson organized a family cornhole tournament with assigned teams and the presentation of a "Commissioner's trophy". We played 60's & 70's music during the games. Thursday evening we built a fire in the firepit and made smores. The only thing we would change is that we would arrange for it to not rain on Friday morning when we were packing our cars to go home. Thank you for a great week. We have already booked for next year.

Our family of 16 enjoyed the upper level greatroom with loads of room for eating and cooking and hanging out together. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware and countertop appliances. We also enjoyed lots of time on the screened in deck with a lake view. We were in the water every day and used the boats every day. We did not realise the 3 bunkbeds pictured were not a seperate room. The 3 bunkbeds are between the media area and the bar area on the lower level. It worked out fine for our family and the grandchildren slept just fine. There is a great firepit on the property, perfect for smores. We played many games of cornhole. We recommend this well appointed property for your family vacation. We had a very fun week.

House was great, plenty of room. Kitchen is well stocked. Host was courteous and helpful. Provided instructions for house. Dock and float are good, has good swimming area and chairs on dock. Only negative was a steep walk to and from house to dock, this was hard for our elderly guests. Overall a fantastic place for a large group, family reunion.

We had a great time. 10 adults, 10 children. It was perfect. Will be signing up for next year!!

We had 4 generations staying in this property. We loved having so much room to move around, especially in the family room/kitchen area. The 2 tables that sat 16+ were a big win! We enjoyed the pool table being upstairs, near but not obtrusive to the rest of the living space. We were so thankful to the owner for working with us on the check-in and check-out times. The whole family thought this place was fantastic - all 6000 square feet of it! :) The two master suites are enormous. The bedroom with the 3 twin bunks is attached to the theatre room and is not a private room, since you have to walk through it to get upstairs from the other 3 downstairs bedrooms. We put our hardest sleepers in that room so it worked out ok. We so enjoyed our time on Lake Gaston!! Thanks to Shannon for all the help!!

We stayed at the property for a long weekend and our family loved the time spent there. The view from the screen porch looking at the peaceful lake is amazing. The house inside had a huge living room and two large dinner tables which allowed us all to eat together, play board games and just talk for hours. Sleeping arrangements worked out great. Also was very nice for the owner to let us check in earlier than check in time. We cannot wait to go back!

We loved the great room with the pool table close by. It was perfect for the 14 of us to cook, eat and hang out together.

This was a great place to stay with the whole family We all had our own rooms and then we still had plenty of areas to spend time together the kitchen was so spacious it was great to prepare big meals in!

Great House , we rented this house for a Ladies Weekend and had a great time . This house was big enough for everyone. It's was our 2nd time renting it. The Owners are very friendly and caring about the renters , making sure everything goes smoothly . The house is exactly as the pictures showing just Bigger . Beautiful house and setting. Lots of rooms and space. Places to gather and get away

Our family rented this house over labor day weekend, and everything about the house is spectacular. The location is very easy to get to, there house is expansive and boasts everything you need to host a large family gathering, no need to bring anything. The kitchen is well suited for making large meals at home, or if you prefer, there's plenty of options for takeout right near the home. The dock is well suited if you want to just hang out in the water in the cove, or there is a boat rental location very close by to which you can rent boats and other items. There are multiple washer/dryers in the house and the house is very clean. To top it all off, the owner is extremely easy to communicate with via the app and was very helpful and responsive in answering any questions we had. Overall, I would certainly recommend this property if you're looking for a place for a large family gathering!

Our family was celebrating several birthdays and anniversaries, especially our 50th. We wanted our 3 kids, spouses and 7 grands to be together. Shannon and Chet's house did not disappoint. Everything was perfect.

This home was so great for our extended family trip. We had many great memories made on the lake and this home provided us the space to spread out some and hang out all together as well. The hosts were very responsive to all our questions and needs. We would definitely come back and this home would be top of the list for us again.

We especially enjoyed the indoor theater and pool table when we weren’t in the lake.

The house was beautiful and spacious. We had a group of 19 with lots of teenagers. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say negative is the we are very hot natured people and we were a little hot the whole week as we could not put the ac below 74. But we adjusted. The grill could use an update. The knobs are broken and it is hard to light and regulate. Loved the media room and all the games. Swimming at the dock was great but we had to use our boat ladder to get out of the lake. The ladder on the dock does not go down far enough to get out for most of us. Overall a great week.

This house was perfect for our multi-generational family gathering...we had18 in our party, with ages 1 - 72 and 1 dog. There was something to do for everyone! We even had a family Olympics while there - playing pool, air hockey, ping pong, connect four and tons of other fun games. Most of our party never left the property except to go out on the pontoon boat that we rented. Grocery shopping was close by and with 2 refrigerators we only needed to go once during our weeklong stay. We loved the gate at the top of the stairs - made it much easier and safer for the 1 year old to have free rein of the upper level. I'm sure there is tons that I'm missing - would definitely stay here again if we plan another Lake Gaston trip. Shannon was a pleasure to work with and was quick to respond during any of our chats.

Beautiful property with tons of amenities. Our only suggestion is bringing a shade for the dock. There’s a table, chairs & holder but we were unable to find an umbrella. Would absolutely recommend the property for friends interested in Lake Gaston.

Wonderful immaculate home by the lake designed for the comfort of large groups. It is beside a cove on Lake Gaston with just three other nearby homes. If you are looking for nightlife and shopping, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a secluded getaway for the extended family, this is your place.

This house is perfect for a larger group to get out by the lake for a weekend getaway! The kitchen was fully stocked, which was great for cooking and serving large meals. Everyone spent a lot of time out on the beautiful screened in porch and down by the lake.

This is a very nice property for hosting large groups. They have everything that you need to relax and unwind. I only wish that the outdoor sitting areas were cleaned before our arrival…there was tons of pollen on the furniture. 🤧

Had about 17 guys come out and the house is met every one of our needs. Plenty of beds, space, activities. Would recommend to anyone and everyone

Our family had an amazing time. The house was beautiful and we had plenty to do. We seem to have everything theater room,ping pong ,air hockey. pool table...the owners were very nice to work with...thank you Shannon !
