Breakfast was best we've ever had in a hotel. Staff are very helpful and positive. Location near the highest mirador in Lisbon. Interior courtyard is peaceful and full of green.

Steep staircase to our room. Go slow!

Bedding beautiful, views stunning, we had the penthouse was wonderful.Thomas the owner cooked us vegan food specially.we loved the two house gato(cats)

We were well warned that there were lots of steps, but if you had lower limb issues you would not want the penthouse.

Can be very noisy. Depends on the room. Noisy road traffic all the day and at night a lot of party people hanging on the place nearby.

Tings is quirky, fun, clean, and in a perfect location! The garden is adorable, you can walk to great sites, and the staff are ready to assist you! We shall return happily to Tings.

If you like small, cozy places with atmospheric touch and the ocean view from the lime tree garden, then this place is for you. Place is located few meters to one of the best places to admire the Lisbon skyline, the statue of Jesus and the 25 April bridge. The place is pefect for people who likes to walk and are not afraid of climbing up and down through narrow yet magic strees of Alfama. Breakfast are pefect, with the best crepes I have ever had in my life! Definitely a place to remember and get back some day (hope very soon)

A bit cold at night.

The staff were very friendly and referred to us by our first names. Attention to detail is excellent. Fabulous location and incredibly clean. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread.

There really wasn’t anything not to like.

Good quality hostel with great views and amazing roof terrace. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. I recommend it.

Fabulous food, we were treated wonderfully by the staff

Our window was so close (about 5 feet apart) to the kitchen window of the neighbour apartment and the man in the window was staring into our room. very unsettling. I asked the staff if they had a curtain so I didn’t have to close the shutter shut in our small room, but was given a small shear curtain that was impossible for me to hang without hooks. Some guests had wonderful views. Wish I had been aware of this before I booked…request a room with a unblocked view.

Lovely breakfast in quirky dining room and outside area if weather fine

This is a historic building and there is no lift. The lovely old staircase was a bit difficult if carrying cases and has quite narrow treads, so travel light or ask for a ground floor room if any doubt. The location is really good in many ways, as it is on a high point in Lisbon with great views over the city just a few yards away. Its an easy 20 min walk into the city (or catch tram 28) but requires a bit more stamina to get back!

They do a delicious breakfast and although it's not a massive variety, the food that they do make is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly, we arrived late morning at the hotel when the breakfast had already closed and they still offered to make us a bit of food, which was not expected but very, very kind and appreciated. We stayed in Triangle room 2 which was absolutely fine, not super spacious but for a few nights it's absolutely no problem. Location in relations to the city centre is great, very easy to get around from the hotel (but be wary, the walk requires a steep uphill trek). Also, above our room was a communal kitchen with a microwave-oven, fridge, kettle, plates and utensils, which was super helpful when we wanted to eat something small at the hotel rather than eating out.

Breakfast was simply amazing! Priscilla, Benjamin, and the kitchen staff (didn't get names), including the chef and woman who made us multiple coffees each morning were so friendly! Garden area was great for morning yoga and afternoon drinks.

Rooms are very warm, even in late September. The upper floors have light from neighboring apartments, as well as the smell of cooking food coming in at night. Maybe some shutters would help.

Everything was great, the location, the people in Tings and the amazing breakfast! And relaxation in the garden before we had to leave for the airport. When in Lisbon again, we´ll be back in Tings.
