Great stay

We really liked this property! Getting into the house was easy because directions were very clear. First thing walking in we had a nice box of chocolates and 3 different kinds of popcorn. There is a projector downstairs, the hot tub was so nice! We used it every night. We never got to use the fire pit just because everyone was visiting on the back porch and the fire pit was quite a bit away and we all wanted to visit. The chalk board in one of the rooms was fun to draw on. The master bedroom was very nice! It was very handy having a door directly out to the back porch from the room! The carpet was stained where the heavy foot traffic was, the bathroom door in the hallway was insanely loud and beat up. I kept stepping on thorns all throughout the house. Not sure if anyone vacuumed because of that? But I would definitely stay there again! Very close to everything!

This classic home has a special vibe. It had plenty of space for the 8 of us. Extra toiletries and towels, a stocked fridge and freezer. My brother, niece and nephews enjoyed the hot tub. The master bedroom is huge and the bed was great! The owl room bed was a little worn out but my brother and his wife made due. The main bathroom shower was not usable but when I messaged the owner he said he would address it when he got back into town. We made due with using the master bedroom shower. We would definitely use the house again if it was available.

The house was great. Plenty of room for 7 of us. The back patio was great for sitting outside. The house was close to downtown. A 5 min drive or walking would take a bit longer. (30 minute walk). We would definitely stay there again.

This cute little house met our needs for our annual wine-tasting weekend. Grill and kitchen worked great for home cooked meals and the hot tub was awesome. Steven was great host with nice little touches like popcorn and chocolates waiting for us at check-in. Beds were comfy. There were only 3 of us, and it was just the right size.

Safe, clean, enough room for our family of 5, nice back yard.

Great place to hang with friends

We had a nice couple nights here! Steven was very responsive to any questions and gave us great recommendations for hikes in the area!

The little house was perfect for four guys to stay in for a golf getaway. The hot tub was huge after playing 54 holes in one day. The only thing we couldn’t figure out was how to get the TV downstairs to work. Need some instruction with that.

my wife and I stayed here and had our family of 5 together over the Christmas holiday and it was a wonderful time. The owner is very attentive and responsive, and the house is wonderful condition and plenty of amenities you would expect. We have stayed at many different places over the years and this was by far the best little home, and the most comfortable mattresses experienced yet (aside from our own of course lol) We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Easy all the way. Great communication, check-in. All that was listed was there Excellent location, plenty of room, comfortable beds, amazing hot tub. Would stay again & recommend.

The kids loved the basement! The projection screen and Xbox set was so fun!! The 5 adults were very comfortable there and had plenty of space and hot water (a plus in our book!). We enjoyed how homey this place was all the books, we read to the kids, there was Netflix to watch, cool little gadgets to mess with, and the kitchen was supplied very nicely. We were able to cook and have a few dinners in. It was private yet still in town. WE WILL BE BACK!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house. The back deck and yard are relaxing and quiet. We really enjoyed staying there.

When I had the opportunity to stay at the blue street cottage, it was due to a 3 month internship in Walla Walla. First off, the location is convenient for grocery shopping, access to highway, walking to dinner places off Isaac St., riding your bike by Mill Creek, and it is a 5 minute drive from downtown (or bus because the transit system here is excellent and the stop is a 5 minute walk away). The house itself is cozy and has unique upgrades such as ceiling lights, Google Chromecast in the kitchen, a projector screen downstairs for movies, and a hot tub! If you are in to strictly modern decor, you'll be surprised to see eclectic colors and older furniture but I can't complain because the beds and linens are comfy. The kitchen is fully stocked from cutco knives to a Vitamix and KitchenAid mixer. Extra shampoo, conditioner and soap was in the bathroom if you forget your own. The master bedroom has a private bathroom, walk in closet, separate entry from back patio, and lock on the door for privacy. Also, if you like to read, you'll be amazed by the varied book collection. One weekend I had family stay with me and my father in law ended up spending a majority of his time reading books on treehouses and tiny homes while my brother read Dune. Steven, the owner, made my stay wonderful. There was a welcome gift upon my arrival and he was very easy to reach for any questions that arose. He is generous, kind, and seems to know Walla Walla very well so he was helpful for recommendations. Walla Walla is the kind of place where you still see families walking or riding bikes on the streets or playing in the park (Pioneer Park nearby with aviary that is pretty cool to see). The sky is beautiful with Pixar-like clouds, you can hear lots of different birds chirping, and enjoy the seemingly constant faint smell of barbeque or campfire in the air. You can enjoy all this sun bathing in the backyard in the lawn chairs or soaking in the hot tub. If you're looking to slow life down or enjoy the best that is Walla Walla, this is a great place to start.

This was a great vacation home for our family of five! Every kid got their own room: our 9 year old loved the chalkboard room and our teenage son loved having the basement movie room with the stocked mini fridge as his cave. The owner gave us everything we needed, including some extra special welcome gifts upon arrival. The hot tub was great and the decor, book and movie collections were just to our liking. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat! Thank you for your hospitality!

Inside a very plain exterior is a delightful home, furnished with interesting, amusing, and intellectually stimulating items and books. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well-appointed and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to fix a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you Steven.

A most pleasant stay! The grape vines on the back patio are charming. The kitchen is extremely well supplied. My only wish would be for stainless steel, not nonstick, pots and pans. We enjoyed the chocolates and organic bananas as "welcome home" gifts. Thank you! Everything was very clean and tidy and convenient.

Extremely comfortable house with excellent amenities. It was very hot when we were there and we enjoyed the very good aircon and were surprised to find that a jacuzzi is really nice to cool off as well. We were confused by the lighting switches, but Steven helped us out each time we messed up. Can really recommend this place.

if the basement was not there i think it would have been too small for our needs. very quirky and the kids loved the basement! I do have to say that i dont believe the "third bedroom" should be counted as a room... more of a walk in closet with a window and large sink. (why that is there i have no idea - did i say quirky yet?) we were three families coming together (3 mommies and 6 kids) - we were kind of expecting each family get a "bedroom" but it turned out that one family got the basement as their room... and then had to deal with kids playing in the room during the day. everything worked out just fine and would stay again if not on the north side of town - MY fault for I did not take into consideration where my family lives in the area so we were driving A LOT. - THANKS for everything

The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was well supplied. The neighbor was quiet . We enjoyed the evening and morning sitting under the back porch covered with beautiful grapevines. We would definitely come back again.

We fell in love with Steven's adorable house the moment we walked through the door! It might look fairly plain on the outside, but it is an eclectic gem that is comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, well-stocked and, well...we were ready to just stay and not go home! The highlight for me was his beautiful hot tub, enclosed in a patio area that has grapevines manicured to grow on and over the trellis surrounding the patio area...bliss! Steven is a very generous host, sharing his canned fruit (which was delicious), and having a few fun items (the media room's fridge is stocked with sodas, he has "kid" cereals above the fridge in the kitchen). He is an open and polite host. We want to come back!! Thank you, Steven!

Came down for a golf trip. Loved the sound system/screen downstairs and the hot tub was legit. Thanks for hosting, we enjoyed it a lot!

Steven was a wonderful host; he surprised us with fresh fruit and chocolates, as well as tips for restaurants and wineries to visit. The hot tub was a great way to end (or start!) the day, and its very private and quiet! Beds were comfortable and it's was nice for us to each have our own room! since the weather cooperated, we were able to walk downtown (1.5 miles away). There's also a few restaurants just blocks away as well, so location is great!! We will definitely stay here again!

This house may look just normal on the exterior, but everything on the inside is welcoming, cozy & interesting (wide variety of interesting books for all tastes, fun games, cozy lounge, home theater, hot tub in a secluded spot, and everything you need!). We had a truly great experience at the Blue Street Cottage. The owners are very professional, and gave us everything we needed and more (thanks for the box of local chocolates & fruits!). Knowing that I would be interested in biking in the neighboring Blue Mountains, Steven gave me detailed instructions & recommendations that made my stay even better. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood - it is a perfect place to relax in Walla Walla while still being close to downtown. It was delightful to enjoy these summer mornings & evenings in the back patio and garden. Very highly recommended

Everything was neat and clean. Very interesting books and games. Lots of parking.

We did a long weekend in Walla Walla and greatly enjoyed the Blue Street Cottage. To be honest I wasn't too thrilled about the place when we booked it as I thought it looked unassuming and dated. However, we were very pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside. The kitchen was great and well-stocked with everything we needed. The street is very quiet and the backyard is great. The hot-tub is very new and was super nice - we used it every night. Beds was nice and comfortable. We would stay here again!

Steven is a wonderful, very considerate host! The house is in great condition and has all the comforts of home. You don't need to bring anything extra - just yourself, your clothes, and grocery shopping. If I had any questions, Steven was always ready to help. The house is close to the airport/east side wineries, definitely check out College Cellars. Easy drive to Main Street; you could probably walk on a good day. Definitely would stay here again :)
