Good location. We had a car but could be walkable to city center. Clean rooms, comfortable bedding, very nice breakfast. Would recommend. Great price for Ushuaia.

Great location in a quiet hillside neighborhood, but still walking distance to restaurants and shops and the waterfront. We loved the charm and friendliness of this family-run place, and would stay there again on a future visit. The brothers who operate Valle Frio are exceptionally welcoming and kind -- we can't say enough about how helpful they were during our stay! Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Good value and nice breakfast, without paying for amenities we didn't need.

We loved everything about this place! It's up in the hills above town, so might not be the place for people who don't like to walk.

This is a Hosteria, a low-cost accomodation in a large old home. Everything was decent and I was satisfied, but it's not fancy, so keep your expectations realistic. Staff speaks English.

Breakfast was not ample. Just the basics.

Valle Frio is an excellent choice in Ushuaia. Great location in a quiet residential neighborhood but just a few blocks from the supermarket (Anomina) and main shopping street (San Martin). A comfortable room, hot shower, full breakfast and very nice and accommodating hosts (three brothers).

Small friendly "hotel". Staff (the brothers) were very helpful. Just above the city, above the traffic, but very close to walk to restaurants and the port. Nice views.

Our room was a little small for 2 people with luggage. But it worked for us, the bathroom shower was a good size.

Good communication from the Hostel as our flights were delayed by 24 hours and they did not charge us for the missed day which was most appreciated. Easy walk to downtown Ushuaia. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was typical for this region and quite adequate. This hostel is immaculately clean and well maintained. We had a rental car and parking was easy out the front of the hostel. Our room had a lovely balcony with views to the mountains and city centre. This hostel has an internal elevator which was very convenient when moving around with luggage.

Our room was quite compact so it was a bit of a challenge to have our suitcases and daypacks open for use. We had requested a pick up from the airport which was confirmed by the hostel but when we arrived no one was waiting for us. We caught a taxi which was not a problem and the cost was the same.

Cozy family hotel with excellent service from the three siblings Mati, Agu and Jere. They were always helping us with recommendations, adapting the breakfast time to our flight and letting us use the dining area when we order food (they even let us use the silverware, plates and glasses). They also helped us change some dollars. I stayed with my family, we were 4 couples and in the 4 rooms the bed was super comfy. The breakfast included cereal, muesli, granola, yogurt, white bread, brown bread, different marmalades, honey, dulce de leche, cream cheese, medialunas and a piece of cake or pudding. They also have fruits to take and a variety of tea.

If I have to say something, the pipes sometimes smelled bad but that was in one of the rooms and at certain times. We also noticed the same problem outside so it is a city problem

Clean room, very friendly stuff and good breakfast. I definitely recommend the place.

Breakfast was very much lacking, probably the only thing that was not good. It co sister. Mostly of dry bread, dry cruisants and a piece of cake. It had no cereal or a granola mix , no yogurt, fruit was old and not much , also juice was limited. Otherwise staff was very ice and helpful and rooms kept very clean. I would recommend it.

Very good cost/benefit ratio, staff is always present to support, well located, good breakfast, clean and big room+bathroom.

It's a small Hosteria (I think that's like a B&B in the U.S.). The owners were wonderful, helpful and accommodating to our needs. The place was very clean, in good condition and small and very quite! It was only 8 to 10 minutes to San Martin Street and all of the shops and restaurants. It was very homey and comfortable.
