Cozy Dog-friendly Lakefront Vacation Getaway on Cayuga Lake

The house was very clean when we arrived. the kitchen was very organized and well labeled. The view of the lake can't be beat!
I was able to dock my 18 ft deep V boat without any problems, although the dock is a bit shallow. Keep the motor trimmed up and it's fine.

A perfect place to spend a week at the finger lakes. The house was very well appointed with furniture and accessories. The host was wonderful I can’t wait to return next year.

2nd time staying. Hostess is wonderful and prompt if any questions or problem.
There were 6 adults, plenty of room. Beautiful deck that overlooks the lake, beautiful sunsets. Dock is close for boat.

This home had all that was advertised and then some. The house is very clean. It has a great view of the lake with easy access. The boat launch is less than 4 miles down the road with a dock on the property. There is plenty of parking and room for the boat trailer. Very lovely setting. I would defiantly stay there again.

We loved our stay at Margaret’s vacation getaway! It really was the perfect spot for our family. The house has plenty of space for a family but is also cozy and quiet for a couple. We had a little of both on our trip with our adult daughters and their families visiting during our stay. The location is superb with stunning views no matter the time of day! Our dogs were a handful at times, but Margaret was understanding and soooo supportive of our rescue mutts! We also discovered that one of the dogs LOVES the water! The property has multiple hang-out spots with comfortable chairs, tables and sun umbrellas. It wasn’t particularly hot while we were there, but the AC in the building worked really well when we needed it. The property has every appliance you could need and the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms were well stocked. All in all, I don’t want to rave too much about our stay in case Margaret gets flooded with reservations and there’s no room for us to return next year!

We stayed on Lake Cayuga for a week in August and had a great time.
Margaret was a phenomenal host. Any questions we had were answered very quickly.
The house was very clean, and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. The beds were very comfortable. The showers had great water pressure. Most all of our time was spent on the backyard Patio and in the sun room, plenty of room for the four of us that were there and our dogs. You can easily fit 6 people.
We started our days off paddling around, using the provided kayaks, and finished it with a fire in the fire pit overlooking the lake.

House was great. It was so clean. Very roomy and great for my dogs as well. Margaret was such a wonderful host....thank you so much! My family and i had such a great time. We brought our boat. The lake was beautiful!!!

This property was the perfect low key, dog friendly, lake vacation. It was our first time taking our dog on vacation and it was perfect. The home was fully equipped for all our needs. Easy access to the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and the dock was convenient. The owner was very attentive to all our needs. Will definitely stay again.

My youngest daugters graduation. Oldest daughters birthday
We had a very busy, hectic graduation/ birthday weekend with family meeting from different locations. It was a pleasant surprise upon our arrival, as the photos did not do justice to this very lovely home. We had to move my daughter from one place to another in the midst of alot of activity and the peaceful setting was very soothing. On the very last day, we got to enjoy the beautiful lake, swimming and kayaking. Margaret's home has absolutely every thoughtful comfort and essential, she is quietly nearby to help in any way and a pleasure to have as our host. We will definitely be back.

Do we have to leave?
Whomever said "There's no place like home" hasn't stayed at Margaret's lake house! She has thought of every amenity to make your stay a comfortable one for you and your pup. My dog mastered the doggie door and it was a revelation! Do not hesitate to book this amazing house. We enjoyed each day to the fullest. We cannot wait to return. Thank you again Margaret. : )

Wonderful place to stay
We had such a lovely time staying here. It was clean, comfortable & many amenities were provided for. The backyard had several places to sit & relax; it was very inviting. The owner was kind, gracious & easily reached when we had any questions. We really enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend it.

We had an excellent stay at this location! Everything was impeccably clean. It was also the best equipped kitchen of a rental home that we have ever stayed at.
