Food service not compatible means No welcome drink or cannot get a coffee or tea according to our need Specially hotel staff should know how to give the service to their guests Yea we can understand its a hotel facility with a tea factory But from the guests that they received to their hotel logging cannot expect that to serve only tea at their facility Should improve on restaurant and f&b Because people checking to the hotel Just with a expectation to get some food or drinks after checking to the hotel Because the location of the hotel their is no restaurants near by even to get a single cup of coffee or tea or any other It's a suggestion it will be better if you can improve your services In hotel Hats off

Amazing tea plantation. Shiva did a great tour. The hotel is quite old, but everything is in perfect order.

Breakfast with potatoes and cucumber has become the most interesting option on the island. There are no shops and cafes nearby.

This place really nice to stay in. It's on the Kandy - Nuwaraliya road (center) and hotel near Ramboda falls. Rooms are well clean and specially Bathrooms are clean and with a nice smell. The staff was friendly and always ready to serve their service with a smile. The hotel owns a tea factory and plantation. They give a free visit to their factory with good explanation. The best this is we were treated with the best cup of Sri Lankan black tea.

If you are traveling in Sri Lanka, this is a nice place to relax. Convenient location, comfortable conditions, breakfast and as a bonus - a free tour of the tea factory and plantations. Thank you charming Shiwa for an interesting story.

after i booked in few hours i got a call saying the hotel is full and they have not updated the bokings and then they offered me the rooms with a checkout time before 9 had no option since i was on my way with a kid had to take it, we didnt have hot water in the showers after informing they told they will switch it on however we didnt get hot water until checkout .

The brilliant rate we got on booking.com. The staff was excellent, trying their best to make us feel comfortable with the limited resources given to them by the management. The huge bathrooms. The WiFi. The few times we were lucky to be served food at the restaurant the tea was brilliant and once was given complimentary. The walking paths close to hotel. The hopper outlet at the bottom although options are limited.

The fact that if felt a bit too ad hoc for a hotel experience. The focus seems to be on the tourists coming in as opposed to the hotel guests. The fact that there is no clear distinction between the area for tourists and the entrance to the hotel. The signage is very confusing as the old hotel signs are also there and there is access to the building from above and below. The reception being too casual and only manned some times. One night the gate was closed by 830pm (since we had no option but to go out for dinner) and fortunately I had got the number of the resident staff member who was in that night. The restaurant only doing one item at a time and not having any of the other items on the menu. This means that you have to go out for all meals including breakfast. Dialog TV not working. The fact that the hotel rooms have a lovely view but tiny windoors.
