The patio for the room was a bonus. Love the whole room and the space.

Being on the floor level, we were able to hear every foot step from our up stairs neighbors. They had children so it was a lot of stomping and running at 11pm at night.

nobody on reception desk duty when we arrived early. finally found a staff member to check us in. Staff member was rude, condescending and argumentative. When i complained, she invited me to cancel the booking and go away.

The room was fantastic! Our room was on the first floor and had an amazing outdoor patio. We loved the room decor, retro kitchen, and the location was excellent for dining and shopping options. The parking was very conveniently located behind the hotel.

Getting pool towels can be tricky since the staffing hours are rather limited. I suggest bringing your own pool towels or asking for pools towels upon your arrival. Also, you do hear people walking overhead in the second floor units due to the tile floors. While I loved the 1st floor patio, I would likely request a second floor room for my next visit.

No insulation from neighboring suites. plumbing noises all night. No facial tissue. no shelf in shower. poor lighting.

The location was perfect for us as we wanted to be able to walk to the local amenities and to be able to drive out easily to local sites. All of which more than met our needs. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and the view from our room was outstanding.

This is a very small issue and probably because we are English - some milk and tea bags would have been a great addition. The suite had facilities to make hot drinks but would have benefitted from providing this.

The Twist did not have my reservation when I arrived, they did not have the room I was promised, and they tried to give me a dirty room with a horrible kitchen and a small window looking into an alley. I had booked an upper level room with an outdoor balcony facing the mountains. When they realized their error, they offered me a full refund, so I had to find another hotel. The staff does not communicate well, no one has refunded me even though I was "guaranteed" a refund. I called, emailed and texted numerous times before my stay to make sure I had the room I booked and no one ever replied.

A really cool vintage motel, updated in all the right ways. The vibe is very Palm Springs. The staff were excellent, they went above and beyond. The pool was great, it was heated for those cool mornings. It was not cheap, but it was one of the best values in the area, especially considering the location. And, the room was huge.

It was a little confusing finding the check-in. They made us fill out a lengthy online form to confirm check-in, that was a bit annoying. It was an older property and it shows some signs of that, but it was very clean and modern where it matters. I really liked the fact some parts of the hotel remain vintage. Overall, only very small things and after the stay I had an overall terrific impression.

loved the apartment style for the space & LOVED the decor & all the awesome thoughtful amenities! The kitchen was really well equipped & the bedroom is wonderfully spacious especially with the fabulous outdoor deck! staff were all excellent

It was weird they did NOT have a reception. we had to check in online !? The shower was poorly built & daily we had excessive amounts of water flooding the bathroom floor! we used a lot of large towels to soak it up! The other huge issue was the incredibly LOUD MUSIC 🎵 coming from the bar below our side if the building! It was annoying as it went on well past 1am !

Checking in over the internet with some human errors made by “back office” Caused our first day to become uncomfortable.

Cute little place done in a cool mid-century style. Great to have a kitchen and a little patio, and the location was wonderful. Staff was friendly and checked in to see if I needed anything.

The heat randomly comes on in the middle of the night and mid-morning and is jacked WAY up! Even when I turned the whole system off, it would still come on and blast to 75F. Too hot for sleep! Also, some of the bowls and glasses that sit out on the open shelves were a little on the dirty side.

We liked the location. They are well appointed and very spacious.

There was nobody available to assist us. We had been assigned to a room that was already occupied. So, we went to the office and called the phone number provided, which just routed us to a voice mail to call a different number that also went to a voice mail that wasn’t even set up. It took several texts and waiting nearly two hours before someone got back to me to give us the correct room assignment.
