We booked one night and liked the hotel so much, we ended up staying three nights.

Wifi not in rooms.

The room was old and the toilet bidet wasn't working. It also needs to be cleaner. The mattress was a bit too hard. Breakfast must be more consistent - the first morning, there was hardly any food and no staff was present. The next morning, the food was well-replenished and there was a friendly kitchen staff.

Location great, fair value for money, clean, facilities basic but fine. Free bike rental. Free coffee machine. Non smoking room.

Needs updating. Beds were a bit smaller than a standard double and not very comfortable but did the job for couple nights. Smelled a bit funky like old food/musty when we arrived. Opened the window to air it out and it was a bit better.

I am a regular here. Staff is nice and location is good. Not for those looking for a hotel that’s fresh and clean as it is quite dated. But still I am very comfortable here.

Seems like someone smoked in the room even if I chose non-smoking. I thought it would disappear after spraying with linen spray but every time I come in ... it smells I think it's coming from the vent

It's a hotel for the budget-conscious, so expectations to be adjusted accordingly. Helpful staff who promptly attended to some AC troubles. It's clean, though very dated. Quite comfortable stay though at a very good price. Good location to Matsumoto Castle and Nawate-dori.

While clean, the room (bed and unit toilet) and facilities are dated. Could tell the mattress was old as it was the spring type that had a slight sag in the middle - moved a bit and no problem sleeping. Toilet was supposed to have a bidet but somehow was faulty so couldn't be used. Didn't change room as I was too tired. Had a little hiccup with the AC, but was promptly attended to by the staff, which I appreciated. Very small lift.

Great value for money if you get it on discount.

Hotel is feeling worn and in need of renovation.
