Amazing location with wonderful views. The property is truly a gem!

This was a wonderful place to relax with family in Lake Placid. The large house is in a perfect location, right on mirror lake, with easy access to the town and all the activities the region offers. The house is a grand historic style "camp" with an updated kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the owner was easy and we appreciated having all the information we needed in advance. Hope to stay here again the next time we have a large family gathering in LP.

Extremally relaxing property right on the water. An easy walk in to town. We plan on returning next year.

Quiet and private, easy walk into town. Great porch and views. In Lake Placid for ECAC hockey tournament and very happy with this choice.

Although the weather was bitter cold (-44 with the wind chill factor) we had a delightful weekend. The fireplace kept us cozy and warm, the house was very comfortable with gorgeous views of the lake. We did venture out for a few walks, snow shoeing, and delicious meals. Thank you Marcy for being such a great host!!

This is our 2nd time staying at this beautiful home on Mirror Lake. The home is clean, spacious and has a beautiful updated kitchen with everything. We went snowshoeing on the lake and enjoyed the walks into town. Perfect location. Perfect home. The owner was easy to contact and quick to respond. We hope to return next year.

We enjoyed 5 nights at Marcy’s beautiful home between Christmas and New Years. We have been to Lake Placid more than a dozen times, and this is the location you dream of — a perfect view of Mirror Lake and east walking distance to Main Street. The house is lovingly maintained and updated with a well-equipped kitchen. It was a perfect location for our extended family group. We definitely hope to return.

We stayed there first week end of October. We were group of 4 couples. Breathtaking view shown in the photo is 100% accurate. House was very clean with upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. Views from the bedroom as nice as shown in photos. Kitchen is renovated and has everything you need during your stay including some spices. Town is in walkable distance with beautiful views. Owner was very easy to contact, very friendly responded quickly to all messages, also gave us tips on hikes etc. We are planning to rent this again for sure.

The house was beautiful and well furnished. We loved the kitchen. We've rented a number of homes before but none had the equipment that this kitchen had. It was great for preparing family meals. The location was excellent. The house is on Mirror Lake and the view is spectacular. It's also about a 10-minute walk into town and very close to a boat/kayak/paddleboard rental. We loved being so close to everything. All in all, we loved our week at this property!

Mirror Lake is an amazing destination! The lake is pristine and so peaceful, perfect for swimming , kayaking and paddle boarding. Marcy is a wonderful host- very responsive and accommodating. This house was the perfect location on the lake- beautiful views of the mountains , and walking distance to town! Couldn’t have been better!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the home. The location was simply fantastic. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed to prepare meals as a family. I had the most wonderful weekend celebrating my birthday with friends and family. The house was beautiful and the views of the lake and Adirondacks were breathtaking!

Location was incredible. We spent So much time on that incredible front porch just staring at the lake. Kitchen had everything we needed. How’s it was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Our multi-generational family thoroughly enjoyed our long-weekend at this property. The house is charming with plenty of room for games and conversations. The kitchen is well equipped and the linens comfortable. We enjoyed skiing, tobogganing, skating and shopping. The close proximity to town and the frozen lake even permitted walking for exercise and the convenience of not having to find parking. Communicating with Marcy was easy and she was very responsive ~ even with getting the plow out to clear the driveway after 10 inches of snow overnight. We hated to leave and hope to get back! Thanks for your hospitality and graciousness!

Beautiful view to wake up to each morning. Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee while overlooking mirror lake with the mountains in the background. Incredibly convenient access to downtown shops and restaurants. And an abundance of nearby, breath-taking hikes. I love the Lake Placid area, and this was the perfect place to stay.

My family and I recently had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful charming home which felt like it was nestled in a scene from an Adirondack postcard. The home was comfortably sized, the amenities were more than plentiful, the location was perfect and Marcy was amazing with her communication. She was back to me with answers to my questions every time which is a blessing. That doesn't happen .everywhere in my experience. We liked it that extra steps were taken before and after our arrival during our current pandemic. We have rented at many places through the years, but this experience remains in our minds as topnotch. We had a wonderful vacation thanks to the steps taken by the consciencious owner, Marcy.

This home and property are beautiful. We went with extended family to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Hands down must be the best view on Mirror Lake - spectacular views of both the lake and high peaks! Very easy access to Mirror Lake, Lake Placid and the village- all within a very short walking distance. Marcy was a pleasure to work with both at booking and during stay. Neighbors are very close and sensitive to noise - so large groups should be mindful of noise restrictions. Overall wonderful stay in Lake Placid!

We absolutely loved our week at Mirror Lake with our children and grandchildren. Both the house and location were perfect for a mix of relaxation and activity. It is easy to walk to town, rent canoes, and take day trips, and it’s equally enjoyable to stay in the house and enjoy the amazing view from the spacious porch or lawn. Even on a few rainy days, we had plenty of space inside to play games, read, and spend time together without feeling like we were on top of each other. The house is very clean with a modern kitchen and everything you’ll need to cook and serve meals for a group and to entertain yourselves. Marcy was also a very helpful host before and during our stay, which was much appreciated since we hadn’t been to the area in summer before. We would highly recommend this house particularly for families.

We truly enjoyed our time at MIrror Lake. The house is situated on Mirror Lake and is about 1/4 mile from the town. Just far enough away for peace and quiet, yet close enough to walk to town. With the 6 Bedrooms and 3 1/2 Bathrooms is was enough for our extended family. Lovely size kitchen. Having a Washer and dryer, especially with children, was extremely helpful. Huge driveway, fits at least 5-6 plus cars.The photos really do not do this house justice. The porch is huge and fit our family of 12 beautifully. We rented some Kayak's and we kept them at the house on the dock. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

Great weekend right on the lake in Lake Placid (on Mirror Lake). Perfect location and great house. The owners were very helpful and made the stay very easy!

Even for one of the more commercial, tourist areas in the ADKs, the home still has a nice, old school Adirondack feel I have never said a negative thing about anyone or any business in a public forum but I would be remiss not to mention a few things about my stay which normally would not be a big deal but given the price of this place, I feel obligated.There were a couple interactions with the host that had rubbed me the wrong way. 48 hours before our stay she informed me of a policy where only six cars were allowed in the driveway. Alright, fine. I asked her if she knew of any where in town where I could park. She told me “no.” Ok, a little weird that she wouldn’t at least attempt to be a little more accommodating given the price tag and take two seconds out of her day to Google it. That’s okay, I did and called the police station and found a few options and assured her I would not have more than six cars in the driveway.At this point I’m like okay no big deal until I arrive at the place, where once you do, she asks that you call her. So I did that and I casually let her know there are two docks and I’d asked which one we could use just trying to be extra careful and respectful. She barked at me “did you read the instructions I sent?!?” I kept things civil and told her I did but was just curious. She recoiled a little and let me know which dock we could use.One of the biggest issues I had though was when after agreeing all along that we wouldn’t exceed her car limit, was that out of nowhere she decided to inform me that if I had more that 6 cars there “the neighbors would tattle on me” when I was never planning on breaking her rule all along. It’s just a very bizarre experience to spend that much money and be told the neighbors will watch you.My dad and I were out talking by my truck and one of the neighbors (older guy) walks onto the property, totally uninvited and Informs us that he basically runs the town and if we need anything to let him know (I got the impression he’s related to the host). And is very nice and jovial Fast forward to the next morning around 730, we are getting ready for a hike drinking coffee and gathered outside and he screams “shut the f up, I can hear you breath, it’s 7am.” He seemed a little unstable and for such a persnickety host she should have mentioned Thats it’s not okay to talk in the yard in the morning at a low volume.The place is nice but there are better in the ADK.

The house and location were just what we were hoping for—no surprises, which is always refreshing! It’s a short walk into town, and has one of the most beautiful views on Mirror Lake! When we arrived, the lake was totally frozen still. By the time we left, a week later, all ice was a distant memory. Marcy was lovely to work with, and I highly recommend this beautiful home!
