Completely renovated house in an amazing location. Short walk to free transportation going to all the US attractions plus in the area and as far north as Old Fort Niagara. Across the street from the Aquarium as well as a short walk to other major attractions like Maid of the Mist. Walking and biking trails. Bridge to Canada is a short walk. House has everything you may need for a large group exceeding 20 people.
Halina and Merle are exceedingly amazing hosts.
Everyone had an amazing time.

We rented the house for 20 family members ranging from 4 yrs old toddlers to retired adults. The room and bed layout was perfect for us and there were ample bathrooms available which can be tricky with a large group. The location is perfect as you can really walk almost anywhere or take your car for a short drive. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

This property was ideal for a large group. With so many bedroons and bathrooms it was unique to have so much privacy amongst a large group. With the casino and numerous great golf courses in the area it made for a great trip for the boys.

Salina and Merle were wonderful hosts. Communication was always easy and helpful. The house, property, bedrooms, bathrooms were exactly as advertised, more than enough room for our party of 12. Everything was incredibly clean and very well organized. The location was quiet and close enough to walk almost anywhere on either side of the falls. We had a great trip, great property and would definitely recommend to any large sized group (any ages for any occasion).

The house was perfect for what we needed with plenty of beds and bathrooms for the 8 of us. Easy to get to the Falls and other attractions. Communication with Halina was great!

When we drove up to Spacious (MeGa) House, we saw a house completely renewed outside and inside, sparkling clean and neat, and surrounded by beautiful flowers in full bloom on all 4 sides.
All 17 of us found our bedrooms and baths comfortable. We were a mixed group, ages 3-77 years old. The 2 living rooms and front porch gave us plenty of space in which to spread out. The larger living room and dining room were great because we could all be together at the same time. We played some exciting games here. Halina put out 2 large sets of building toys for the 5 youngest children who built many towers. The side yard was large enough to play outdoor games. We found all the dishes and utensils that we needed for dinner and breakfasts. The grill and picnic tables worked well for outdoor cooking.
We most enjoyed our easy access to all parts of Niagara Falls State Park, the fireworks, and the Aquarium. Walking to any site in the Park is easy and faster than the shuttle or driving. Several relatives walked over the Rainbow Bridge for their first visit to Canada.
Before booking Halina and Merle clearly explained the house amenities, rules, and the itemized terms in the fees. They also asked questions to be sure we would like the house. Halina and Merle really wanted us to have a happy vacation in Niagara Falls. Before our arrival and during our stay they gave us lots of information and quickly answered all our questions.
We would strongly recommend this home for any group

The house was situated within walking distance of the downtown area . We left our vehicles parked & walked most everywhere. The house was very clean . My family & I were able to meet Halina & Merle. There were 16 people in our group & the home had more than enough room to accommodate us . We really appreciate the hospitality , snacks & card from the owners. If we’re ever in the area again we’d definitely book again .

We enjoyed everything from planning our stay to visiting and relaxing in this great house! It was so carefully designed/furnished and had all the right amenities that our entire family of 25 folks ranging in ages 10-82 required. Everyone enjoyed the stay and had all good things to say about the house. This property from the parking all the way to its proximity to all attractions to the convenience of crossing into the Canadian side over the nearby Rainbow Bridge to being close to the nearby supermarkets and more, was such a joy to visit. We’re very grateful for the hosts who were exceptional in their efforts and communication and extremely fair and professional on all matters ensuring our stay was as comfortable as could be. We really enjoyed our time together here and would definitely, visit again certainly recommend this to others!

While the house is beautiful and in a great location as far as walking to the Falls and the aquarium are concerned, it’s surrounded by vacant, run-down and boarded up houses with the exception of one house next door the host also supposedly owns. While grilling outside, a family member was approached by someone asking for money and if they could search through the trash cans. Most importantly, the host required a cash deposit which was never returned to us a promised and all email contact since we checked out of the house six months ago, has gone ignored and unanswered. I don’t recommend staying here.

House is in a great location. Walking distance to waterfalls, Canada, bars, restaurants, etc...
Worked great for our group of 13 men where most of us were able to have our own bedroom. Large dining area to sit together for meals, cards, etc..
Halina and Merle were very attentive and helpful.

Everything was great. Owners responded quickly when I had an issue. The house was clean, spacious and had plenty of bath towels. The house was located near the aquarium and falls which was great There was 19 of us and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Big Gray House
This property was in very good condition with plenty of bedrooms and baths. The house was nice and clean as well. It was appreciated that two bedrooms were downstairs. We ranged in age from 86 to 4. The front porch was a big plus for those of us who chose to sit outside and enjoy the cool evenings.
The location was great. It truly is a short walk to see the falls and other attractions. We were also near the aquarium and the kids enjoyed that.
Our hosts were nearby and were helpful...ideas of where to go and things to do as well.

Perfection
EVERYTHING was 5 star. And only because we were a group of senior ladies…..the picnic benches in the dining room were not comfortable enough to spend hours playing cards and games - not that “a normal” group would choose to do that anyway, but that’s our only reservation. THANKS for the beautiful accommodations❣️

Exactly as advertised. Ten smallish bedrooms and only the eating area in which to be all together, but it worked for our crowd of 20, SO CLOSE to the Falls and local attractions! Hosts were extremely responsive.

Landlord completely unreasonable
Our once in a lifetime 40th anniversary celebration was completely ruined by the owner of this property who trained a dozen security cameras on the property trying to find an excuse to cancel the reservation. He canceled it without warning or good cause. When we complained to the police, the officer agreed we had done nothing wrong and that this landlord does this frequently. And he is the only one the officer has seen do this. We are contesting the charge on our card.

Close location to waterfalls
Communication was the best we have ever experienced and location to waterfalls could not be better. One challenge was no tubs only showers for kids.

Mega house was megamazing!
Definitely an awesome choice! Convenient to everything. We parked and never drive again until we left. The 1st night, we had an issue with the tv. We heard the doorbell ring and there was Merle with a replacement tv! Gotta love that type of thoughtfulness. Owners were extremely friendly. helpful and provides a plethera of information and suggestions! The playroom was ideal for the kiddies! Everything was clean and comfy and felt like a home away from home. We didnt want to leave, but we will be back!

Amazing
We was a really big group so the house was perfect, when we first saw the house we thought we weren’t going to fit in the, but surprise the house is huge, very clean, we love it, we are going back soon and we are going to rent it again. Everything is close. Thanks for the experience.

Great stay
The Mega house was more than we could have expected. Newly remodeled, beautiful, roomy, inviting and extremely comfortable. This house is just as advertised! Everyone had a very comfortable bed to sleep in. The kitchen had everything you can possibly need to cook big meals not to mention how clean and well kept this house is. We loved the huuggge dining room for eating and chatting! You couldn't find better location, it's very close to the falls and attractions. Our 5 cars easily fit on the parking lot behind the house. And the owners are great to communicate with! We reccomend this house to anyone who enjoys a comfortable get away with family or friends.

Best vacation stay ever!
We came as a group of 4 families. Merle and Halina met us at the house, showed us around and answered our questions. The house was very clean, well decorated and the perfect size for our large group. Everything we could have needed was provided, including all linens, towels, paper products, shampoo, etc. and there was plenty of coffee and tea in the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils and cookware necessary to prepare the meals we ate. A nice touch was a big loaf of fresh baked italian bread from local bakery. We had a wonderful time playing games inside, and exploring the area outside. We didnt move our cars from the parking lot behind the house due to the proximity to everything we needed. We walked to the Falls and must admit, the Falls in the winter looks spectacular! Numerous bars and restaurants are located just two blocks away from MeGa house. We found a local pizzeria and had great pizza and Buffalo wings delivered in. One night we walked to The craft bar and sampled many local craft beers and the best burgers we ever ate.!! We took a 2 minutes walk to the Aquarium to meet the penguins and to watch Sea Lions show. We highly recommend this for any large group looking to getaway for a while! Will be back in summer time!

Post Christmas Family Trip
Our family has taken a trip right after Christmas for a number of years. This year we chose to go to Niagara Falls, NY and with 10 of us including small grandkids we were looking for a larger home convenient to all the area had to offer. That is when we found the MegaHouse on Homeaway. The house met all of our needs. It was very large with 10 bedrooms, Very clean and 1 block from the 3Rd street business district. The Niagara Aquarium was across the parking lot. The owners Merle and Helina met us at the house as we arrived and as we departed. They had thought about a vacationer’s every need. Nothing left to ask for but they were just a phone call away.
The location and size of the house is perfect for any large group looking to be in the center of the action in Niagara Falls. We will stay with Merle and Halina again when we go back to Niagara Falls and recommend their home with 5-Stars to anyone wanting to rent!!
