I booked Sandy Shorts for our family and extended family to stay for 3 days. We needed to be in close proximity to Cape May and we were conveniently close to the beach as well. We arrived a few days before our ceremony and were able to visit the boardwalk, watch a fireworks show and go to the carnival. The family had an incredible time.
While I was admittedly a bit skeptical of the property because of the extra deposit, I couldn’t have been more thrilled with our choice. Beth set everything up to be as painless as possible. She went above and beyond for our family who was traveling from the opposite coast, which has challenges of its own. The house itself is in a prime location, it is clean, and loaded with items needed to cook and entertain ourselves.
I would vacation here again, with no hesitation. Beth was a pleasure to deal with and we felt like she wanted us to really enjoy our stay.

If I could leave 10 stars I would! This place was perfect, from the size, amenities, contact with host, location, cleanliness and comfort! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There were literally about 13 or more bicycles for use and all the beach items you could possibly need. We booked our stay over the Labor Day weekend to celebrated my daughters 16th birthday on the Jersey Shore and everything was perfect. Plenty of room for 6 teenagers plus the birthday girls parents. Didn’t drive the entire time we were there as the house is close to everything 6 teenagers and us parents wanted to see and do. I highly recommend this property.

Location is in a quiet neighborhood and home is clean and extremely well equipped. We took advantage of using the supplied beach carts and wagons - very helpful for getting to the beach. Beth is great at communicating (text, emails, phone) - very responsive and provides all the details to ensure you enjoy your stay (even having delicious fresh bagels delivered our 1st morning). Pictures of the home are accurate. We loved being close enough to walk to many restaurants and the boardwalk.

My family and I stayed here with our 3 children, 2 nieces and Mother in law - (a total of 8 people). We unfortunately arrived during a black-out when everyone including the boardwalk, surrounding homes and businesses were out of power. Beth was so accommodating leaving us several portable lanterns with fans attached to keep us cool and as comfortable as possible. She also kept us updated throughout the day and night advising when power should be restored. Thankfully, it came back while we were sleeping and Beth was incredibly generous offering a partial refund towards our first night. This goes beyond hospitality as owners are not responsible or required to do this. Furthermore the home had everything you could possibly need including wagon(s), strollers, beach carts, boogie boards (13) bikes, beach accessories, several games, appliances and all the accommodations one would need to host a large family. I especially appreciated the safety features and gates as I have a small child. No need to bring a stroller, high chair or pack n play. They have it all. It was also a very pleasant surprise waking up to fresh delivered bagels our first morning. The Boardwalk is close and a short walk w/a corner store outside the unit and Family Dollar along the way. My 71 year old Mother in law loved the room downstairs. She had a full bath and exit from the unit without going up steps. We had such a wonderful time, our kids and guests didn’t want to leave. The location was great. While it wasn't beach block, the walk was easy and it was wonderful not having to find and pay for parking to go to the boardwalk, for ice cream or for dinner.
Beth, the host, was excellent at communicating before during and after our stay. So friendly. Our security deposit return was super quick as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy Shorts! It had everything we needed. We were greeted with a basket filled with items like toothbrushes, laundry detergent, paper towels etc…… all the things you need, but may have forgotten. We also were happily surprised to have bagels and cream cheese delivered to us on our first morning there, courtesy of Beth and Kevin.
With just a short walk to the boardwalk and a garage stocked with everything you need (bikes, beach chairs, wagons), it made our stay that much more enjoyable. We are looking forward to returning!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a basket of necessities…toothbrushes, toilet paper, paper towels etc. For breakfast the next morning, we were surprised by bagels and cream cheese from the hosts. The whole place is nicely equipped and we especially enjoyed the covered front porch and 3 parking spots. The location is great for doing boardwalk things but be ready for a workout getting to the water as the beach is very wide. Thank you, for being wonderful hosts!

What a great experience from the very beginning just dealing with Beth! The minute we opened the door we were taken in by the shore house feel of this beautiful home! Plenty of room for our family of 6 with enough room for everyone to have personal space. Close to the boardwalk to walk but far enough away to be away from the boardwalk traffic. Amazing Condo in Wildwood!
I would recommend this condo to anyone that was looking for a centrally located vacation spot. The condo was well stocked with all the necessities and then some. The owners left complete instructions and all switches and fixtures were labeled. In addition, and very important on my checklist is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. Everything We Needed and Then Some
What a great first experience renting a property through VRBO. The property was exactly as advertised: spacious, bright, and above all clean! The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need, and even a wide array of games were available for us to enjoy. Not only were we greeted with a thoughtful welcome basket on our arrival, Beth and her husband treated us to hot, yummy bagels on our first morning. Our family loved staying at this property. We planned a trip to tour around Cape May, but this condo in Wildwood was the perfect, reasonably priced accommodation for our big family. If fit 9 of us super comfortably, and was very easy to stay there with my 1.5 year old toddler (permanent baby gate at stairs, pack and play and high chair available). The hosts were friendly, easy to communicate with, and overall a pleasure to deal with. They really thought of EVERYTHING when designing/decorating their property. 1000% would recommend and would gladly come back.

Great mini getaway during COVID-19 Pandemic
My family and I were looking to take an end of summary trip that wasn't too far from NY and wouldn't require a 14 day quarantine. We settled on Wildwood and came across this property and couldn't have been happier with our stay and experience. Beth the property manager was a pleasure to communicate with and very responsive and thorough responding to any questions we had. The properly was exactly as depicted and described with plenty of on hand amenities to make your stay that much more enjoyable(wagons for kids to use on the boardwalk and beach, beach chairs/umbrellas, a variety of bikes amongst other things). The Beach and boardwalk were only 2.5 blocks away from the property. Check-in and check out was a breeze. We'd absolutely would rent this property again.

The owner's, Beth & Kevin made the process so easy from beginning to end. They communicated throughout the entire week and were so thoughtful. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything that you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. Amazing stay at an amazing property!
Renting this beautiful condo was a breeze from beginning to end. If it’s possible, the condo was even more beautiful in person. It is large so people have plenty of space and can have alone or quiet time when desired. Quick walk to the beach. And Wildwood beaches are so big, social distancing was easy. Aside from the condo itself, the owners took it to a another level with thoughtful personal touches during our stay. For example, they had the best bagels ever delivered for breakfast our first morning there. Pure class! Loved everything about it, and can’t wait to stay again!!
