Location is excellent, morning receptionist was good and professional. Morning breakfast staff pleasant and efficient.

No bedside table on 1 side of bed so water glass, book, ipad etc had to go on floor, no plug for putting in phone on that side of bed either & this was a suite. Bedroom airless & stuffy. Tired decor. Advised to move car (although we had wheel lock) because of prior incidents close by which is fair enough. But called in room later to say £60 charge for parking it where we were told to leave it. Needs forewarning & agreement. Insufficient prior explanation also of additional £100 charge on room (later refunded) to cover extras. All acceptable but needs clarity & good communication when booking in. No wi-fi at all n bedroom - only in sitting room which is unhelpful & not ok in hotel of this billing. TV in sitting room did not work when we arrived late in the eve - did work in the morning. We were too tired to call for assistance at 11.30pm but should have been checked. This all said - in the morning the receptionist as we discussed these matters was warm, informative & professional & handled everything very well.

Lo abbiamo scelto principalmente per la vicinanza alla Royal Albert Hall, é stata una piacevole scoperta. Stanza e bagno ampi, letto molto confortevole. Pulizia accurata degli ambienti. Ottima e abbondante la colazione con buona selezione di prodotti freschi sia dolci che salati a buffet e la possibilità di prendere anche un piatto a scelta dal menu. Piatti gustosi e perfettamente eseguiti al momento. Menzione speciale per il personale, tutti veramente molto gentili, disponibili per ogni necessità e sorridenti. Non abbiamo testato la spa pertanto non posso esprimere giudizio in merito.

A voler proprio trovare un neo, la ventilazione in camera un po’ rumorosa.

Posizione eccellente. Cordialità e professionalità dello staff. Comfort delle camere. Servizi di housekeeping (diurno e couverture). Palestra piccola ma con buona dotazione.

Gli arredi risentono del tempo e andrebbero rivisti. Seppur ottima la colazione, forse il buffet è leggermente limitato nella parte salata.

Il est marqué spa, mais à part le hammam, les soins et les équipements de gym, il n'y a rien.

We stayed at this hotel as it was very close to the Albert Hall where we were attending a show. The first room we were given the receptionist said 'We have upgraded you'.....and not, we would like to offer you an up grade. (1). It was a charming and beautiful room so we ignored the fact that she did not offer but told us we were upgraded. 2. After the show we got back to our room to find that there was no hot water. We were offered another room. Shortly after taking that room which in our opinion was an immediate downgrade, even though the manager insisted it looked the same. We decided to accept but sadly it was the same issues - no hot water, and this time the lights were faulty and kept switching off. What a disaster ! It turned our perfectly lovely evening and morning into a horrid experience. We were offered yet another room but at this point patience had run thin- we packed and left without breakfast and without showering. The worst part was the reception making us feel as if we were unwelcome by insisting that the rest of the hotel was fine and there were no other complaints......I think a short spell on customer service training is badly needed here. The long delay in the manager coming to the phone meant I had to tell the receptionist what the issue was when I wanted only to share this with the manger to save embarrassment but she decided to arrogantly add 'We all in reception already know the problem'....nice ! needless to say we were offered a refund but like I said it was more about the attitude as well as the hotel fixtures and fittings not working properly.

Staff were amazing and the hotel is designed beautifully. Beds are incredibly comfortable and breakfast was really good. The staff are really a highlight though.

Shower slightly loose on the wall. Not incredibly central but that’s not always a bad thing.

We were upgraded to a Junior Suite and that was a very pleasant surprise. The quality and size of the room was first class.

A good location for the west London parks and shops, harrows etc

The decor is old. The hotel needs a refub There are many different little things that are noticeable, doors needed repairing general decorative state is not on par with other 5 star London hotels in the same rate band.

The suite was excellent as it gave our 14 year old privacy to get ready etc. The beds were really comfortable and we enjoyed the complementary prosecco. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were excellent. We ate dinner too and it was fantastic.

We had to ask for the sofa linen to be changed as stained. This was the only negative in a five night stay.

The location was perfect. Staff were exceptional.

The breakfast was very disappointing. For that amount of money you would expect a much better breakfast.

Very convenient location - Kensington is the place to be. Shops, pubs, restaurants, beautiful streets and so tranquil. Dive in and enjoy. Very beautiful design, good sound proofing. Service is very good. True 5 star unlike some of the overrated „big institutions“
