The building is a historical landmark nd it is very pretty. You can feel thrown back in time. The hotel is in the center and the area is quite safe. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help you with anything you need.

Breakfast could have more variety of food, but overall it was ok. The property is an old building (in the historical sense) and needs some renovation here and there.

This is an excellently run hotel with very kind and helpful management and staff. The location is very good. The hotel is spacious and characterful. Spotlessly clean. Good breakfast from 7:00am to 10:00am. The hotel can arrange reliable and comfortable transfers to and from the airport. First class laundry service.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was better than fine. This was not my first stay and I shall continue to return.

Excellent value for money in a well-maintained historic property; this isn't a luxury hotel, but it's a very good hotel in a historically significant 19th-century building that's been sensitively restored. Staff are universally friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. For example, on my final morning, when I asked for help with a taxi to the airport, they called me a car on the local ride share app Bolt, which was about a quarter of the cost of a formal taxi. The breakfast is simple, but is again good value for money. Rooms are slightly plain, but are immaculately maintained, clean, and comfortable; note that rooms with balconies at the front on the 1st floor are closer to the street than 3rd-floor rooms (I stayed in both a few days apart), and are therefore a bit noisier at night, but I didn't really see this as a negative. Central Asuncion is much safer than many South American capital cities, and I had no concerns about the location - which is only a short walk from the Lopez Palace, National Pantheon, and other historical sites, as well as some good restaurant options.

The palace is historic and very beautiful. It is extremely clean. The breakfast was very good, eggs, ham and cheese tostadas, plenty of fruit and juice.

The wifi connection on our floor (2nd) kept dropping. Everything needed in the room and bathroom but could be more aesthetic. Breakfast was very basic, needs improvement.

I was comfortable in ALL aspects.

The Continental Breakfast was excellent - eggs cooked to order, and plenty of fresh fruit, juice. And good coffee! The staff was outstanding. They were super courteous and were a big help arranging tours and transportation during my stay. The housekeeper for my room went the extra mile every day. The hotel is in a great old building. I would come back to Paraguay just to stay at this hotel again.

The only thing I didn't like was that my trip ended and I had to check out.

The staff is super nice. Everyone friendly and accommodating. Hotel rooms are basic, yet nice. Hotel was built in 1858 so has some old world charm. Good breakfast. Eggs and grilled ham and cheese sandwich made fresh to order rather than turning cold on a buffet table. I liked the hotel and especially its staff

Asuncion Palace is in a beautiful, historic building located in downtown Asuncion, Paraguay. The room we stayed in was very charming with a beautiful balcony overlooking the street. This place transports you back into time. The staff is very kind, and is always looking for a way to make your stay even more comfortable.

The team at Asuncion Palace was amazing! Alice, Graciela, and Ciello were so wonderful, kind, and made me and my family very comfortable while staying in the heart of Asuncion. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We especially loved the fresh made chipa, cookies, and brownies! The hotel was so clean, and always well kept. We were in town to visit family is Sajonia, so the location could not have been better. Easy walk to shopping, attractions, and restaurants. The week long stay was perfect!
