Y Malísima MALÍSIMA LA ATENCIÓN POR DIOS DEL RESTAURANTE… SALIMOS TODA LA FAMILIA EL DÍA DE AYER 08/05 VOLVIMOS A LAS 23 hs , NOS VAMOS PARA CENAR Y EL SEÑOR Y LA SEÑORITA DEL RESTAURANTE NOS ATENDIERON SÚPER MAL 1 ) QUE NO PODÍAN SEPARARNOS POR HABITACIÓN LOS PEDIDOS 2) NOS TRAJO 7 hamburguesas y nosotros éramos 12 3) Quedaron personas sin comer 4) es todo lo que hay no podemos cocinar más porque ya es tarde nos dijeron 5) Queríamos pedir para tomar algo y nos dijo que ya habíamos pedido que se cerró la cocina 6) estábamos terminando de comer Y NOS APAGARON LAS LUCES …. HORRIBLE LA VERDAD !!!! ÉRAMOS 12 personas DE LAS CUALES 4 ERAN MENORES Y NO PUDIMOS COMER !!! LOS CHICOS DE BUENOS AIRES QUE ESTABAN HOSPEDADOS AHÍ SALIERON A COMPRAR FIAMBRE … FIAMBRE CON PAN EN UN KIOSCO !!!!! NUNCA MÁS LA VERDAD !!!! La limpieza y los cuidados en los detalles. Tampoco me gustó que pidan datos sensibles de la tarjeta para el cobro de lo que se consuma. Eso raya lo ilegal.

Hotel is located in downtown Asuncion, It's very comfortable what we can explore the center of city on foot. Asuncion was a place where I worked on donations for Paraguay 10 years ago, so it was nice to look around every corner of the city on foot. I like the Lobby that is decorated classical atmosphere and is planed comfortable space layout. Especially, Yard(Patio) within swimming pool are beautiful and peaceful.

Since the hotel was built for a long time ago, the interior and the furniture in the hotel room are old. Therefore I did not feel good. The old room environment(Finish of interior, Furniture, etc.) diminished my feeling although the space of the room was sufficiently spacious and functional.

The hotel has charm, as many others have pointed out. The room I had was very spacious, with lots of power outlets, and overall quiet. The WiFi had good speed.

The gym is maybe 50% functional. All three bikes didn't work, 1 treadmill didn't work, and the other made terrible noise at higher speeds, so I only dared to use it slowly. As pointed out by others, the hotel is generally dated.

The old grandeur and history of the hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. It was like stepping back in time.

The team that runs this hotel is truly worthy of praise. Excelsior is among my favorite hotels in the centro of Asunción because the staff members always make me feel welcome. Guests get an immense value for their money. I am a repeat guest and will continue to be one.

Local friends were extremely positively impressed with the Hotel Excelsior. The entrance area is also great. Across the street from the hotel at Shopping Excelsior you can get almost anything. The rest 1 block away at Biggie Express. You can walk into downtown comfortably. My room was pleasantly quiet Sunday through Thursday. It is a nice place to work. It was a nice stay.

Friday night and Saturday night the disco was too loud for me.

The room is very huge. Breakfast has good spread. Staff is very helpful. Located in old town, walking distance to most of the attraction. There is a mall opposite the hotel and a 24 hours supermarket nearby.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We left our phone in the public area after we check out. They found it and keep it for us. This hotel was a five star hotel before, the rooms are huge and comfortable. Breakfast is good and have variety of choice. They have good WIFI in room also. Hotel is located in the old town, all the attractions can be reached by foot. There is a small shopping mall and supermarket opposite the hotel.

Very excellent professional staff , very lovely , very helpful at reception and in the bar restaurant - massive rooms - big bed !! Great food / breakfadt seriously good - lovely setting - big lobby nice to sit in - great wifi - i got ill with the local chikiwawa mosquito virus - the hotel arranged a brilliant doctor within 30 mins for free - opposite mall for supermarket and shops - its a little tires and could do with a refurb here and there but tvats a minor point , i had a really enjoyable stay here chilling out between hectic travel around south amerca .The pool is fabuloso but staff are some of the best ive seen in all my globall travels to many countries over over many many years.lovely people .Vastly better than the first one i stayed in at twice the price9
