The pillows were exceptional . I’m always hesitant with hotel pillows , but they were fantastic , and so was the linen , and the bed so comfortable as well . THANK YOU

I was a bit hungry , and with no car , some ready made sandwiches or sushi in the fridge in the entertainment room would of been so handy

I booked a one-bedroom suite, hoping my teen daughter and I would sleep in separate rooms, but unfortunately, the second room turned out to be a tiny 5m2, uncomfortable box. The room is smelly and needs a good steam cleaning. Housekeeping needs to clean better. The cups and plates from our breakfast were still on the table when we returned in the evening. The accidentally broken cup was not replaced but tossed in the cupboard. The toiletries in the shower ran out of hair conditioner, so we requested the receptionist refill it in the morning. However, it was still empty when we returned in the evening. Had to go downstairs again to ask for it. Location—literally, there is nothing around. It is a dull area with no eateries or entertainment. We regret not booking in the city walk area. The Spa was closed during the Easter holidays but was still advertised when we booked and was included I guess in the room rate.

Really friend staff, amazing gym facilities and I was able to walk to so many nearby locations. Really beautiful building and was nice and quiet.

It was beautiful building. Interrior was modern but classic and outside had a historic atmosphere. Bed was nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel was generally well maintained.

First, no lift. My knees aren't good but I had to carry my suitcase and other luggages to the room upstairs via many stairs. Secondly, when I requested 2 single beds I meant twin bed but there were 2 single beds put together like a double bed. I believe it was because I ticked 'couple' when I booked a room but there was no option for 'friends'. Third, all power points were on the bottom of walls. Again, I had to kneel my bad knees and it was painful.

We like to stay in smaller, quieter hotels with a little bit of old-fashioned atmosphere. Brassey Hotel fulfills all those requirements, in a quiet area plus has off-street parking
