No horário do check in de 15 h o quarto não estava disponível. Foi resolvido 30 minutos depois

A localização, com praia próxima foi sensacional. O quarto possuía uma bela varanda com linda vista e também uma mini cozinha que nos facilitava a preparação do café da manhã.

O box não era fechado de modo que a água do banho transbordava para todo o banheiro. A limpeza do quarto não era bem feita e sem horário fixo. Um dia chegamos às 17 horas no hotel e ele ainda não havia sido limpo.

Lækkert poolområde - pool m saltvand, skrev de, men vandet lugtede af klor? Direkte adgang til det lækreste havvand fra flere trapper - ferskvandsbruser ved den ene af trapperne. Umådeligt velholdt have samt maling udvendigt på bygningerne. Generelt var personalet søde, flinke og servicemindede. Opfindsomme og som regel spændende og velsmagende retter på menukortene, kan især anbefale Roof Top og Bread & More (super bread and cakes), men en stor mangel (opleves som alt for rigidt), at man ikke kan få et simpelt spejlæg m bacon til morgenmad hos nogen af restauranterne.

Solsengene ved vandet var mildest talt nedslidte og ulækre, sorte af mug og fedtede. Desuden var der alt for få solsenge, både ved pool og strand, taget i betragtning, at det vælter ind med gæster udefra, især i weekenderne. Betrækket på stolene i baren var også ekstremt fedtede og fyldt m pletter - gys! Vi fik tildelt et forkert værelse ift. vores booking, først da vi ønskede at annullere vores ophold, fik vi det rigtige værelse. Ingen kogeplade i kitchenettet på værelset, dvs ingen madlavning - ærgerligt, da restauranterne er meget dyre. Nogle få fra personalet var ufatteligt langsomme og flere havde svært ved at forstå engelsk. Ventetiden i alle tre restauranter var altid som minimum 30-45 minutter før der overhovedet skete noget, medens personalet tilsyneladende havde masser af tid til at sludre. Der var ofte også fejl eller mangler i det vi så fik serveret. Spejlet i vores badeværelse var ved at falde ned, og var misfarvet af ælde og fugt i kanterne. Leje af bil fra hotellet - næsten alt gik galt. Der er slet ikke biler nok til efterspørgslen, og så kommer din booking an på hvem der “ser på skærmen”. Totalt upålideligt, book bil fra lufthavnen. Alt ovenfor er ikke lige hvad vi forbinder med “luxury”.

Het restaurant Karakter. Fijn hoe je hier heerlijk kunt ontbijten, vervolgens een strandbedje uitzoeken en hier verder kunt bestellen. Alles met liefde gemaakt. Aan het eind vd dag reken je alles af.

Ik vond de bedden wat minder van kwaliteit. Topper of matras wat ingedeukt. Wel super schoon!

The resort is a little remote from other things on the Island, so our rental car was a must. Plenty of free parking available and we went on our way every day without issue. The resort is on a guarded area of the island, with a 24hour security that ID's you on arrival. Our room (600) was oceanview + poolview on the 2nd story with a balcony that we had breakfast/good coffee from the bakery almost every day. There are 2 beach areas next to each other. One has little rocks which do not make is ideal but the other side has beach chairs to lounge and drink and there is an access path to enter the water. The water is extremely clear and beautiful. The pool is big enough for the guests to enjoy without annoying each other. Lots of loungechairs and from the in pool you have a beautiful view of the ocean. Stunning to see when the sun is going down.

The restaurants are a little pricey, but it's worth it because the quality of the food is really good. The pizza from the bakery/pizzeria isn't great, but Karakter and Koraal (restaurants) more than make up for it.

-The cleaning was an issue and I had to complain - it was a bet too far from the city - The room furniture were too basic for the price we paid.

Good location with snorkeling off the beach. Good food. Great gin and tonics! The balcony had a terrific view of the ocean and a comfortable sunning bed.

The people who worked at the spa were lovely but the massage was just so-so. We stayed in the Superior Ocean View room. It was a fairly small room. The shower was only partly enclosed and water flowed outside the shower area.

The water was beautiful.

The pictures on the website are not representative of the actual property. There was nothing luxury about our apartment. It’s hard to believe that is a 4-star resort. The couch was so stained and the cushions were different colors. There were ants all in the kitchen. You maybe got one bath towel and no hand towel, no wash cloth, nothing. You didn’t even get a blanket for the bed. I froze. At checkin the person was fairly grumpy. At checkout the person was very nice. So that is representative of how the staff were. Some were nice and some were rather grumpy. In addition, it is in the middle of nowhere and we were not a fan of the restaurants on the property and finding other options for dining was not easy. The property is advertised as handicap accessible but that is only partially true. So all in all we would NEVER stay there again. Disappointing as we booked two places while we tried to decide where to stay in Curacao. Guess we cancelled the wrong one.

It was very secluded, which makes it very relaxing!

If you want to know Curacao, you absolutely need a car.

The room was small, dated. No cooking appliance in room, only Microwave. Small fridge. The ad says, stay like you were at home. Sadly, this was not the case. The patio chairs, SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE. Not for lounging after a day at the beach. Especially that our room had a ocean view. I mean, please provide comfortable chairs or loungers. To use the pool or one of the beaches, you must purchase min 20usd pp. I wish they had stated this in their ad! iIt would be transparent when choosing a place to stay ad. Groceries stores, 20 min away. Requires a taxi or renting a car. Nothing is close to this place if you are looking to make your own meals. As you can see, we rented a SUPER Deluxe Room, and this was not what we would consider a super deluxe room!

The restaurants were not great especially the one by the pool.

The Resort is located right in the middle of the main beaches and destinations you should visit while in Curacao. We were looking to be away from a mejor city/urban area, and this place really fits the expectation. You have good dining options on premises. Rooms are comfortable and with adequate space. Note that you should really think of renting a car to visit other places. The island is still relatively small (one hour east to west, 5 minutes north to south) but you rely almost 100% in having a car to enjoy the experience.

it’s a beautiful property but it was packed because of New Years.

no water offered to guests, you have to pay for literally everything on the side. restaurants are good but the food took forever to arrive every single time.

It is dificult to mention what I liked because all points sounds good.

It's a great place to stay that has it all at your fingertips. Some highlights were: The location is convenient for getting around the island. Nothing is in walking distance so you will definitely want to rent a car so you can get out and explore. Plenty of parking on site. There's an awesome restaurant with a beautiful sunset view, another restaurant where you can eat breakfast with your feet in the sand by the water, a pizzeria, bakery, as well as pool and beach area. The room was spacious and well equipped. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay if you want a quiet spot away from the noise of the city.

I'm not fussy with beds and can usually sleep anywhere, but the bed was pretty uncomfortable. Could be a personal preference though.
