Good location near the U.S. embassy when you want a stable and early arrival. ~15min walk. The lady is nice and helpful (tho she seems not to be the actual landlord). AC working well in the bedroom (only fan in living room). And decorations do have a flavour.

Most furnitures have rather poor quality. Scruffy cabinets, leaking fridge, gas water heater, rough bed plank, near transparent curtain, clogged shower drain, etc. It's not good even considering the price. And many bugs as well, though it may not be their fault. Also, be aware that they might want you to request a refund from your booking website and give them money directly instead for some tax/fee issues.

We were greeted by a very friendly person, Judy. The apartment was clean and larger than expected. When I go back to Santo Domingo we will stay there again.

The bed was a little hard.

Other than main bedroom which was air conditioned the living room and dining room were extremely hot. There was no fan in the living room.

car parking in the inner court, well equipped kitchen,

mutual living room + kitchen + bathroom for several (5?) rooms.hostel-like. (must have missed at description...if existed)

The staff was very hospitable. I was hesitant to pay through Western Union at first, but everything went smoothly, and the staff was very kind and welcoming.
