Stayed here last year for a month from just before Christmas 2022 to middle of January 2023 and loved it. Large apartment, number 35, it was clean, in the middle block with a great view of the sea, with a balcony where you were shielded from the balconies of the apartments next to it. It was on a middle floor so stairs weren't a problem but not so low we looked at the block infront rather than the sea or had a balcony effectively level with the pavement with zero privacy from people walking by. Because we were so well situated we couldn't understand the many bad reviews about mould, broken tiles, no heating, noise etc. We could see there were a few issues with the place and we thought the way some staff at reception wouldn't even look up from their phones to say hello back to you was rude but we didn't let that bother us. We kept the apartment spotless, broke nothing and spent the day cleaning before we left, even washing out cupboards, cleaning the seals on the fridge, scrubbing the floors, washing the glass on the shower and balcony doors and stripping the beds. Apart from putting clean sheets on the beds there was nothing really for the cleaning staff to do for the new arrivals and it was cleaner than when we arrived. We never made any noise and never bothered reception once for anything the whole time we were there and certainly made no complaints, even when many were complaining about the large groups of young people who book a few rooms together over New Year's Eve every year and spend from roughly 10am to 4am drinking, playing loud music and shouting on their balconies or the people staying who often made noise last at night coming home drunk. We were so happy last year we booked for a month this year too despite the price taking a huge, roughly 50%, jump from last year. Well, we found out this year what people meant when they left bad reviews.

It was a fantastic holiday all round, we were made to feel so welcomed by the staff and locals 😀

Great studio apartment, with equipment in the kitchen. Very good location between the beach and the bars area. The staff was very nice and helpful.

We found ants in the kitchen, didn't get much sleep with party's ongoing threwout the nights.
