Great location right at the river and within a 5 minute walk from the downtown area. Breakfast is excellent. The room was clean as expected and the bed was very comfortable. When arriving by car, the friendly staff guides you to a dedicated parking garage.

During winter time the heater is located right under the window and obstructed by 2 layers of curtains, leaving the room quite cold upon arrival. There was a noticable musty smell in the bathroom coming from the shower drain. It disappeared after I let the water run for a minute and did not come back. Probably just stale water sitting in the drain because I was visiting during very low frequency off season. Please check for that when the room has been prepared several days/weeks before arrival of a guest. I would have preferred separate bodywash, shampoo and conditioner over the provided 2-in-1 shower gel. In the end none of those things had a major negative impact on my stay or comfort.

Location and parking garage availability.

Smell of urine in the bathroom and wc with limescale workstations. Poor value for money (price too high).

It’s great they have parking but they don’t have many spaces and you have to ask a member of staff to let you in/out (the garage is on another street). I’ve stayed at this hotel several times so it’s never really been a problem.

Best location in town. We had a room on the 4th floor looking out over the river and up to the Marienberg. Postcard stuff. A good comfortable traditional hotel. A small elevator was very welcome, the wifi was great and there was a small fridge in the room for my wife's medications. The aircon worked a treat. There are electric shutters on the windows to help block out light and noise, but they also helped keep the room cool while we were out. The staff were nice and had some English, which helped us with our limited German. We had breakfast onsite both days, it was fresh and plentiful and the nice lady would have cooked for us if we'd asked. There are plenty of eating and drinking options within easy walking distance.

There are steps up from the street to reception, so if you have mobility issues (mine are fairly minor) then you should keep this in mind.

Very pleasant staff and great location in a beautiful city. Breakfast is always good here.

The shower over the bath is a bit precarious as one gets older. And I am not sure, but I think the rooms with a shower only have a very tight space in the shower compartment.. That's the only issue.

We liked the location and the view. A secure garage space was provided which was for us a requirement. The food in the terrace restaurant outside was very good. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were helpful and spoke English.

The room was on the small side and the small bathroom in need of freshening up.

Stale smell from plumbing. One of the housekeepers repeatedly opened my door without knocking, interrupting a video call with customers

The breakfast buffet was simply amazing, it was a real treat. The lady serving us with tea/coffee was very kind and professional. The room was very comfortable and clean. What I really appreciated was that the staff could arrange an early check-in for me, which was very important for me on the day I arrived.

Nice staff and in the heart of the city

Nice view, brakfast and staff were very service minded.

Bad air-condition. Too hot in the room. Juice and other drinks should be served cold I would have reviewed the menu at the restaurant and the brakfast and also fixed tge air-condition. Then it would have veen worth the price wfich i think in this cercumstance bot deserved 199 Euro.

The location is perfect: walking distance from the city center. Very friendly stuff. Nice and clean rooms.

Great view from river-side view rooms (including 302). Staff both in reception and the (under-used / valued / reviewed) restaurant are well trained and very helpful (despite no English on the resto menu)

Very easy to find, there was a garage for our bikes, the room was large with air conditioning, bed super comfy. Quick walk into town. Breakfast was delicious.
