- Das Restaurant war gut aber preislich für philippinische Verhältnisse etwas überteuert.

- die ganze Nacht haben wir die stinkige Luft aus dem septischen Tank im Schlafzimmer gerochen. Es war kaum auszuhalten. Aus dem Grunde haben wir unseren Aufenthalt auch abgebrochen.
- unser Zimmer sollte 23qm haben (haben ein upgrade gebucht) Allerdings war das Zimmer nur um die 10m2 gross.
- die Handtücher waren schon sehr zerfranst und vieles andere was ich nicht weiter ausführen möchte…
- Wir haben die Unterkunft gebucht weil sie eine Hohe Bewertung hatte - leider entsprach vieles nicht den minimalsten Erwartungen die wir hatten und war sehr enttäuschend

Incredible place to stay!
The stay was excellent, saying the same for all the people too.
Kasia and Tomek did stunning job there. These guys also recommend the places around which you can visit and enjoy every day stay there in this magical place.
This place is really „in the middle of nowhere”- the best option to be one with the nature. Every day you wake up to a sight of animals all around you.
The journey to green hill is an adventure in itself. The road through the jungle bring magical feel, you pass two beautiful beaches (white beach and coconut beach), as you ride your scooter or motorbike the stress of the city melts away…
No doubt the best holiday ever, once again great hospitality, caring staff, lovely food!!!
Wouldn’t change anything!!!

Friendly and helpful hosts. Fantastic views from the cottages and the restaurant. High quality and quantity food. Amazing entourage and silence + stars at night. All of this is worth the extra effort to get there by tuk-tuk form the town at around 600PHP from the bus terminal at Barton.
No hot water - we were aware of that and not expecting it.

Very quiet location. Best sleep I've had in ages. Lovely views. Good food but expensive.
Hut very basic Just a bed and plywood rack.
No bedside table or place, apart from rusty nails in plasterboard walls, to hang clothes. Bin used for dirty toilet paper not emptied in my stay there. Could do with a good clean/renovation. The location is inconvenient. Tuk tuk 600 pesos is a very uncomfortable 25 min ride to Port Barton and boats infrequent, so you are stuck. Try the restaurant on White Beach, which is deservedly popular with day trippers.

Ce sera en deux points
- premièrement : La publicité mensongère de l’établissement : service de navette inexistant alors que ce dernier est mentionné dans la description et j’en passe d’autres équipements ou services sont manquant ; green Hill est extrêmement loin du centre de port Barton avec une route peu pratiquable : certes cela rend le lieu atypique mais fuyez si vous voulez faciliter vos déplacements . Les rares tricycles qui acceptent de faire le trajet prennent très cher
- deuxièmement : les hôtes, qui au premier abord on été accueillant mais qui on fini par être complètement condescendant avec nous suite à un vol dans leur établissement : pour la petite histoire nous nous sommes fait voler de l’argent dans deux cabanes ( nous étions deux couples) les cabanes ne sont pas du tout sécurisée l’une d’elle est pourvue d’une fenêtre impossible à fermer laissant l’opportunité aux voleurs d’entrer . Pour l’autre cabane elle était totalement fermée et même à clefs, le mystère plane encore sur QUI aurai bien pu pénétrer dans la cabane fermée à clefs….. évidemment les propriétaires ont accusé l’établissement concurrent d’à côté .
Bref, aucun geste commercial, aucun mot rassurant, même pas une boisson chaude offerte ni bouteille d’eau lorsqu’on s’est rendu compte du vol complètement paniqués. Juste l’interrogatoire de la propriétaire « comment allez vous payez ? Il vous faut de l’argent ! Appelez votre famille vos amis ils doivent bien pouvoir faire quelque chose !! » mais qui sont ces gens pour nous dire quoi faire ? Qui sont-ils pour savoir si on a de la famille ou même des amis ?
Nous pensions passer un moment en pleine nature et en pleine sérénité dans ce bel endroit qu’est port Barton, ce vol aurai pu être un détail mais le manque de compassion nous a tout gâché.

Uns war es wichtig eine günstige und außerhewöhnliche Unterkunft fernab vom Massentourismus zu buchen und legten Wert auf die tolle Lage im Dschungel. Der Auftenthalt war super und wir konnten gut relaxen.

Die Sauberkeit im Badezimmer war nicht ausreichend. - (Teilweise war im Badezimmer der Kot von Eidechsen oder Ähnlichen ersichtlich sowie der Gestank von Abfluss wahrnehmbar. Auch wurden die Abfalleimer mit dem gebrauchten Klopapier an keinem einzigen Tag entleert.)

La vue sur la jungle et la mer, le petit déjeuner et les repas qui étaient bons. La proximité de la white beach.
Le chemin d’accès, le bungalow ne fait pas 15m2 comme indiqué, rien pour mettre nos affaires, la salle de bain soit disant privative dehors dans une cabane, ou les moustiques pullulent. Il faut descendre du bungalow pour s’y rendre. un lavabo commun ou l’eau ne s’écoule pas. Pas de scooter a louer donc retourner au village.

The hosts, Katarina and Tomas were really great. Very friendly and helpful with some good advice about tours and transport. The property is very special, the view is utterly breathtaking and the surroundings are incredible- you really feel at one with nature. The restaurant/bar area is so relaxed and it's easy to while away the hours just sititng and looking at the view with a coffee or a nice cold beer. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were all very friendly.
The nearby beaches were gorgeous and I really loved the walk down to White beach and Coconut beach is about another 15. minute walk - a certain level of fitness is required -especially for the returm journey up the hill.
This place is not for everyone so please read - you cannot go all the way to the property in a tuktuk. You get dropped a few hundred yards before as they can't go any further - you then need to walk the last bit with your bags - i think if you call ahead the hosts may be able to help if you need it. The road from the terminal is very bumpy and extremely rutted. There is a very steep path up to the main building - not good if you are not fit or have any physical problems. Having said that, once you're in - it's well worth it! Also there's not a lot of extra room in the bedrooms - i was alone so not a problem but would have been quite tight otherwise.

The veiw and the food was really good. Also the nearby beach was super cool and they made us a great lunch we could bring as well. The couple who owns the place are the most helpful people, and the kitchen raises the standards for eating out in the phillippines. The food did cost a bit more expensive than you would be used to in Philllippines, but its worth the price.
It was some what of a hike. Not that i did no like it, but more that i would prefer not to. But it really did not make the difference since the walk was entirely worht it

Las vistas y la comida son inmejorables. Además el dueño del alojamiento era encantador. Esta tan solo a 10-15 minutos caminando de una de las mejores playas que he visto nunca. Sin duda es toda una experiencia alojarse aquí. Nos ha encantado. Seguro que volveremos.
La cama era algo incómoda y el wc olía a tubería, por el resto todo bien.

The seaview is breathtaking and the food is simply great! Thomas is a great host and very friendly and helpful. The staff, in particular Grace, are also helpful and attentive to guests' needs.
We felt very well treated and it was an excellent choice! We extended our stay because we loved the place.
We loved our stay but I must say it is not for everyone. The path was muddy and not easily accessible. If you like adventure and a hot shower is not a must, you definitely should consider it, however, if you need a hot shower, maybe you should give it a try anyway ;)
People with limited mobility or wheelchairs, however, should discard it.

Absolutnie zapierający dech w piersi widok, którego nie da się wycenić, piękna plaża White Beach z cudownym piaskiem i błękitną wodą, super przestrzeń wspólna/restauracja z fajnym klimatem i dobrym jedzeniem, miła i pomocna obsługa, minimalne „zanieczyszczenie światłem”, dzięki czemu w nocy przy bezchmurnym niebie podziwiać można gwiazdy.
Trudno powiedzieć, że się nie podobało, ale należy się nastawić na to, że jesteśmy w dżungli, a droga do obiektu, szczególnie po deszczu, potrafi być wyzwaniem i wiąże się z przeprawą przez błoto. Jest też dosyć stromo, ale na szczęście wspinaczka pod górę nie jest długa a nagrodzeni zostaniemy przepięknym widokiem. Poza tym obsługa jest gotowa pomóc z bagażem, wystarczy tylko wcześniej powiadomić. Kolejna oczywista rzecz - to dżungla, a więc mogą nam się zdarzyć „goście” w pokoju, dla których de facto to my jesteśmy gośćmi w dżungli. To normalne, jednak jeśli ktoś spodziewa się sterylnych warunków, bez jakichkolwiek „żyjątek”, to nie miejsce dla niego. Na szczęście to sporadyczne przypadki, a moskitiera skutecznie odgradza nas od „tych co fruwają i latają”:)

A diamond in the jungle! Amazing view from the main room and the cabins. Our cabin was simple but comfortable. The food is spectacular, everything made fresh and even breakfast to go is not a problem if you have to leave early. Kataryna and Tomek are so friendly and helpful! Bit of a hike to get there, but it all adds to the adventure! Highly recommended :-)
There are mosquitos ofcourse but if you bring enough repellant it's no problem.

Het uitzicht is prachtig
De weg er naar toe deze vonden wij na een regenbui eigenlijk ontoegankelijk en gevaarlijk. We hebben netjes de borden gevolgd zoals de host aangeeft, maar bij het tweede bord kan je beter links aanhouden en via de buren naar boven lopen anders kom je op een ontoegankelijk pad uit. Wij vonden het vervelend dat de host dit lachend zei toen we al boven waren aangekomen. Als excuses werdt gebruikt dat dit Filipijnse stijl is maar wij vonden het eerder gevaarlijk. Het is vanaf het strand langer lopen dan 15 minuten dus houd hier rekening mee als je veel bagage hebt, wij zouden adviseren alleen hoog nodige bagage mee te nemen. Door de bereikbaarheid zijn we maar 1 nacht in plaats van de geboekte 3 nachten gebleven.

I proprietari sono delle persone gentilissime, la posizione è stupenda, una vista e una pace straordinarie. Svegliarsi la mattina in quel posto è magico, si sente l'energia della natura. Bellissima esperienza. La spiaggia a 15 min a piedi è stupenda.
Chiaramente non è per colpa dei proprietari ma la strada (dalla spiaggia alla proprietà) è abbastanza fangosa (chiaramente dovuto dalla pioggia e dal terreno argilloso). Anche se a dire il vero rende il tutto ancora più avventuroso.

Przede wszystkim, przyciągnęły mnie przepiękne widoki otaczającej przyrody – każdego ranka budziłam się do malowniczych krajobrazów dżungli. Widok z domku na lagunę zapiera dech. Restauracja serwuje świeże i smaczne dania. Obsługa zasługuje na wielkie brawa za gościnność i profesjonalizm. Zawsze uśmiechnięci i gotowi pomóc, sprawili, że czułam się jak w domu. Właściciele Kasia i Tomek tworzą niesamowitą atmosferę, pomagają w zorganizowaniu różnych atrakcji, służą radą i pomocą. To idealne miejsce dla tych, co kochają przyrodę i piękne widoki! Polecam i na pewno wrócę!

rooms definitely need to be maintained. only one very simple (hard) bed and no small light, no wardrobe, no table or chair, no decoration. It’s literally this bed and nothing else inside.

Amazing place to get out of crowded streets and rest. Amazing hosts made me feel like at home. Bunglows are perfect, comfortable beds, electricity, smart simcard internet works well. Great views, you can sleep with your door wide open and wake up to the amazing view of ocean. The food is also great there so you can stay there as long as you like without going to the village. Highly recommended.

This is honestly the best place we’ve ever stayed at during travels: the view is breathtaking, you can take a boat to the place (how unique?), food is fresh & homemade, the hosts are sooo friendly and helpful.
In my opinion a must visit when in Port Barton. You also basically get the White Beach to yourself.

Our hosts Kasia & Tomek are amazing, you can see the passion they have for this place. They'll help you with a transfer and everything else you need.
Food in the restaurant is amazing - everyday we had there delicious breakfasts, dinners and drinks with a breathtaking view!
Our cottage "Magellan" was absolutely perfect, with private bathroom, mosquito net above the bed, fan, terrace and hammocks.
White Beach and Coconut Beach are the best and prettiest in the area, and it's just a 10-15 minut stroll to get there.
We recommend this place to everyone who's looking for a place to rest and reset!

The location of the Green Hill Restaurant & Cottages is amazing. I had high expectations and they were absolutely met. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We walked to the white beach in 15 minutes. Didn't do anything else besides relaxing.

The view is absolutely stunning and the staff and the manager are really nice and helpful. The beaches are all natural and clean and the jungle is truly amazing with all the birds and plants.
The rooms are quite basic but clean and all well kept.
Considering the affordable price it is definitely worth it. It's also next door to the Jungle Bar in case you want to have a drink or food in a different place.
I think they should put mosquito screen on the doors, change the hamacks, which are incredibly small, change also the mosquito nets which ate a bot too small.
The access road is a bit challenging but it's also part of the charm. There is a 4x4 that can pick you up at port barton on case you don't feel like riding a scooter or walking.

The location is amazing. The view of the bay is gorgeous. You'll have nice sunsets and beautiful starry nights everyday. There's also an amazing and quiet beach nearby. The staff and owners are super kind and the food is really good for a fare price.
This place is perfect only if you want to disconect for a while. Beware that you'll be really far away from town. There's a car that can take you to town but only at certain hours. And there's no phone reception, although there's wifi in the comun area

This place is one of my favorites where I have stayed in the Phillipines. A hidden Diamond! What beauty this place holds. The view is stunning and the environment is peaceful. Thomas , Katrina and their lovely staff had a great role in making my stay there a pleasant one. Thank you!

when we arrived (in time) the driver didn't wait for us (the road is only accessible by 4WD) and we need to go with all our bags by motos (price was higher, more dangerous and delay).
Green hills didn't communicate/apologize and offer a commercial rebate.
Room is empty and bed is small, energy power sometimes off.
