Poolen var helt perfekt efter dagarnas små vandringar. Väl fungerande arrangemang, utrustat kök, välstädat, allt fungerade precis som tänkt. Trots att vattenledning brustit och hela kommunen stått utan vatten i två dagar träder vår land-lady (Franka) in som en hjälte och försåg oss med vatten och det vi behövde.

The view was stunning could look at that all day every day, the beds were comfortable and facilities good, although the BBQ was a bit worse for wear . The terraces were lovely .

We didn’t get a change / enough towels . But to be fair we didn’t ask either and the host said we should ask if we needed anything . We came without a car and it is over a mile walk to bus , which comes every twenty minutes to take you to Sorrento . It didn’t bother us but would be hard for those with mobility problems if they didn’t have a car .

Wonderful villa with outstanding views of the Sorrento Peninsula. Our hosts were very welcoming when we arrived but gave us loads of privacy and we had amazing space - two patios, swimming pool and balcony pretty much to ourselves. Would definitely come again

Everything! It was such a lovely place. The view was amazing and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to visit. Our host was friendly, informative and just wonderful. We had he most wonderful time.

You can't really help that there are hills but that as the hardest thing! There was nothing we didn't like. Our stay was great. We'll be back.

Francs is very kind and helpful. The villa is clean and has an amazing view!

It’s not a problem if villa, but something we didn’t pay attention at while booking: villa has two bedrooms, one with an amazing view, and one with separate beds and no windows at all. So when you travel with friends it might be hard to chose who sleeps in room with no windows. We decided to swap bedrooms after half a period of our stay and Franca was really kind to change bed linen when we asked.

A party of 4 girls staying at La Fenice Sept 2019. The location in Massa Labrense was great, sitting a few km outside of Sorrento and would suit those who prefer to avoid the busier city of Sorrento & have transport. I would recommend driving if staying at La Fenice because the small town of Massa Labrense would be a good 30min walk from this property. The walk down to the Port was nice and slightly closer, 15 mins with popular, well priced restaurants. Our host was Franco provided a very warm welcome, was very responsive to communications via WhatsApp and problem shooting issues. This was very reassuring for us.

The property is appointed very basically, so eating out would be recommended. There's no coffee filter, no toaster, plates and cups are small and not plentiful. The gas hob was temperamental sitting adjacent to the sink and would ignite given its proximity to the sink. The bathroom shower is small, there's no mirror in the second bedroom. The outside space was plentiful but again tired and we preferred to spend our days visiting places and eating out. Maybe we were expecting too much. The boiler was problematic during our stay, we had several cold showers and Franco attempted to resolve the issue. We decided to stage our showers to ensure sufficient water to shower & wash the dishes, but this was problematic throughout our stay. There is a parking space but this is occupied by motor cycles, parking for cars is roadside.
