Clean and staff were helpful
Room warm and needed to sleep with the window open - a noisy part of Swansea.
Pillows not supportive.
3.4
Friendly staff willing to help comfortable beds
Air con not working , windows not open wide enough only 1 working elevator

Location is great although loud being in a city.
Lifts weren't working on arrival but soon were fixed. Neighbours were loud and smoking in room but as soon as the fire alarms went off, they no longer smoked! Unfortunately the whole hallway stank.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodated my bike, locking it securely in the conference room! The breakfast was delicious and unexpected, as on-line it said continental, but I was able to have a full cooked breakfast, which I needed as I was going to cycle 42 miles over hills that day.
The carpet on the stairs was threadbare in places, though I guess that most guests use the lift! Some furniture in the room was rather shabby - the desk had a piece of veneer missing and was chipped. However, the room was clean and comfortable.

They got 2 lifts 🛗 only 1 was working

Not a lot really was put on 7th floor cold damp room with no heating
Cold damp dingy room on top floor inbetween what seemed to be ppl in sheltered housing noise all night banging arguing paid £125 not worth £60 horrific

area very rough.foyer was being used as some kind meeting place for some unsavory characters that were obviously not staying at the hotel. The room had signs that there may lots of attempts of people trying to break in.

Decor and fabric of the building is very dated and in urgent need of refurbishment.

Good breakfast
Hotel in need of a facelift (which apparently has already started)
The overall decor is dated and in need of refurbishment.
The room needed a good clean ie cobwebs in corners of the windows
Non-existent sound insulation, which is vital in a busy city centre hotel, with constant traffic noise outside throughout the night.
Swimming pool was unavailable on the last stay a number of years ago

checked in went really well very smoothly was greeted by a polite nice young man who was very helpful checked me in within 5 minutes said which room I was in ( room 216) this was a lovely room very clean and also had shutter on the inside of the room which i thought when i walked in this was a good idea as curtains sometimes let light come through.
really good weekend went down for the Air show which was really good highly recommended to go and see
Breakfast was a help your self service which Prefer this as you get to help your self to what you want Huge selection to choose from to cereal fruit yoghurts toast Eggs scrambled and fried bacon sausage beans has browns mushrooms you name it also had a huge selection of drinks such as apple juice, orange juice, coffee, tea and water.
this is my 2nd time staying at this hotel and will be staying again in May 2024
day came to check out which was before 11am caught lift downstairs and walked over to the reception desk and gave my key card back to the lady and asked if she could check a booking which I made but wasn't sure if it had been paid for she was so helpful and told me that it had not been paid and that i had till a week before may 2024 to pay for it which was fine.

Upon arrival, the staff were great, very helpful and attentive. The lobby was well laid out and spacious.
The room was a good size, with good air-con, and a comfy bed. Very clean and tidy.
We stayed one night to see a show in the new Swansea arena and it suited this perfectly. A short walk into the city but far enough away from the main nightlife to get. Good night sleep.
Parking us available on site, sign in at reception. Approx £9 per night. The parking is very limited so recommend early arrival to get a space!
Small car park but that can't be helped on such a central location

The Breakfast was very well cooked and plenty of options to choose from.
Did you ever play "the floor is lava" as a child? If not, let me briefly explain; the aim of the game is to NOT TOUCH THE FLOOR. That's exactly what I'd recommend to anybody staying in that room. The carpets and the curtains had more stains than even Mr Muscle could handle not to mention the clump of hair that looked as if Tarzan had combed his hair with a garden rake by the bin. As for the wake-up call I requested at 07:30...it never came. Luckily for me, the Sun shone brightly through the stained curtains which woke me up at 5:00am anyway so no love lost there. I am lactose intolerant, so I had Informed reception that I would like an alternative to milk at breakfast. Why did I bother, it was not on my table as promised by the members of staff. The only thing Hot about the Dragon hotel was the kettle.

Location.
This is not a 4 star hotel! I've stayed in 2 star travel lodges better than this place. Room is clean but stains over the floor, ceiling peeling, chair fabric peeling off.. just awful. The breakfast was even worse! The sausage was so over cooked I couldn't even cut it. The member off staff at breakfast was wearing jeans and a hoodie... I couldn't believe it. No fresh fruit besides bananas being offered. Awful. I will not be returning here.
