Road is a disaster, and very poor indication to reach. In case of strong rain it could be risky to reach the home safe.

Easter Island is an amazing place! And we are happy that we chose this house to stay in. We spent a week there and didn't want to leave at all. The breathtaking ocean view, the tranquility, and the cleanliness were outstanding. The hosts even changed the bathroom mats and kitchen towels every day. It was especially delightful to have fresh farm eggs and bananas delivered to us. We really want to come back again! Thank you for this wonderful week. It is important to note that the location is quite remote, and a car is necessary. We rented a car directly from the hosts without any bureaucracy.

Carla and her family were the kindest hosts. The wifi worked better at Maunga Roa than it did at our hotel in Santiago. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place is absolutely awesome, it has a picture perfect view of the ocean and the rough cliffs of the island. Waking up to such a view through the large windows is a real treat. The host was also very caring and helpful with all kind of things, even providing free range eggs and fruit from their farm. You can rent their car or use the free mountainbikes they provide to explore the island or go into town. The cabin has everything you need and is nicely decorated and very clean. You have a lot of privacy, there's only one other bungalow on the property. The star gazing was unbelievable. I would definitely choose this property when returning to the island.

it is absolutely beautiful! sea views and big sky! we had everything we needed. it was sparkling clean with comfortable bed and little living room and kitchen. we had a veranda with table and chairs. wonderful! we were treated to champagne and fruit for our anniversary. our hosts were wonderful. Always responded immediately

just be aware that the last 1/2 mile of road is very rough. Driving slowly is a must!

Great place with extremely helpful owners! Located in the center of the island gives to an option to be on a beach oa in the city in 15 minutes with a car (that you can conveniently rent at the lodge- highly recommended as the price is fair and you greatly minimize the paperwork;) in the night it is silent and perfect place for stargazing! And don't forget about a juicy pineapples!
