The accommodation was excellent and well situated in the city centre. Rooms were excellent with a shared kitchen which was well supplied. The place was quiet. Would definitely be returning on my next visit

It was very close to the city walls and there was a car park nearby in William Street. The room was very clean airy and bed very comfortable.

Due to the location, it was very noisy at night, particularly on Saturday night when I was woken up at 2 am by traffic shouting and horns being sounded. That could have been a one off thing and it's something that's out of control of the owner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Grants Rooms - the location was perfect and the room was lovely. Thank you William!

The warm welcome and very clean facilities

The extractor fan in the toilet got very loud before it would turned off,also very noisy people in the room beside us

The welcome was great. Room and bathroom spotless. Kitchen facility unexpected with groceries left for breakfast.

Very nice room with comfy bed and a large en-suite bathroom. The kitchen facilities next to our room were handy. The accomodation itself is super central! so very close to all the main attractions :) overall this place is great for a short stay.

No soundproofing meant I was woken by other guests early morn, slamming doors! and also some very tipsy people banging on the outer building door at 3am :( This is not the fault of the owner of course, but the ground floor might better suit heavy sleepers.

Thin walls

It was quiet, close to cinema, local bars, eateries and shops. The staff were friendly and kind. It was spotless. The little extra touches they added made it more homey. Plenty of amenities. As it's self catering, you can leave things like shampoo etc for the next guests which is what we did but the staff also leave fresh milk, bread and cereal teas and coffees and fruit in the kitchen for you.

My partner said the mattress was a bit too firm for him but I slept great. Not having a window in the bedroom was a bit of a bummer too but the building is old.
