We loved it, perfect location and central to everything. Home cooked full Irish breakfast in the morning, lovely owners and very friendly. Definitely would stay again, beds sooo comfortable! Very modern and very clean, lovely stay

Closeness to the centre of Derry. Breakfast was amazing! First class host Kieran and his recommendations for places to eat in Derry and tours of the city. Kieran and Debbie were so kind and helpful. Derry was a beautiful city.

Very small rooms, no a/c

Overall the place was lovely. The location was good - just outside of Bishop Gate, so only a short walk into town. The breakfast was great - freshly cooked hot Irish breakfast and a self serve continental breakfast (we had just come from a hotel chain in Belfast the night before, and breakfast at Bishop Gate BnB was 10x better and didn't cost any extra), Ciaran even made it vegetarian for me (thank you!). The standout however is Ciaran's hospitality. He is friendly, and helpful and just an overall delight. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable even after check out. Just brilliant. Thank you again!

No fault of their own, they can only work with the space that is available, but the bathroom was a little squishy. These aren't complaints in any way, but small suggestions that I think could help improve things ever so slightly. One would be to add those little single-serve long life milk things to the rooms for tea/coffee. The other would be a quick explanation of how to lock/unlock the front door. It was a tricky one (for me at least) to crack. Neither of these retracted from our experience however. This is a great place to stay!

Ciaran couldn't have done any more for us. He was so hospitable and helpful, actually went beyond to help us. The breakfast was great as was the banter 😀. Beds were so comfortable and roon well aired. Would definitely recommend. Excellent value for money.. Thanks again Ciaran 😊

Lots of stains on the carpet in our room. Plastic tablecloths. Looked a bit rundown..

Kieran, the proprietor, was a very kind and informative host. He was so helpful to meet us downtown in a pub and gave us the keys to get us checked in/setup, etc. In the morning he cooked an excellent Irish breakfast and we had great and informative conversation around the history of Northern Ireland and Derry with many personal stories and recollections.

Very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was a good hearty cooked breakfast. And the host is very accommodating. Would recommend very highly to guests staying in derry especially near town centre.

Reception and breakfast was excellent.

Met Kieran (host) very friendly and helpful. Cooks a good breakfast or help yourself to pastries and cereals. The room was fine though the rooms were close together. Location was okay although if carrying a suitcase better to get a taxi from town as its quite a steep hill. Taxi about £4.00 from Foyles Bus Station. Kieran suggested a couple of places like The Rocking Chair for dinner which was very good and Paedor O'Donnells for Irish music, next door is Tracy's also with music very popular.

The room was a little small and too close to the other two rooms.

The location is fantastic, short walk to all the best city pubs, sites and venues. When we arrived Kieran treated us as long lost friends or family and provided numerous recommendations for food and sites. his breakfasts were incredible as well. We will definitely stay with him again.

The bathroom and room was quite tight for 3 people. Doable for one night. Not really a place to relax, just sleep. The plusses outweighed the benefits

Excellent location within 5 minutes walk of city walls. Friendly and welcoming host. Comfortable bedroom with plenty of space for us and our luggage. Excellent shower.

The bathroom was miniscule, making it quite awkward to actually sit on the toilet comfortably!

Nobody there when we arrived. Nobody lives there; no front desk. We waited. THEY NEED TO GET A RING OR NEST TYPE DOORBELL TO COMMUNICATE WITH GUESTS WHEN HOTEL IS UNATTENDED. Bath mat was squishy-wet from previous guest when we arrived.

The walls between the rooms are very thin so can hear everything going on in the adjacent room including the very noisy bathroom fan

This BnB is a most It's very clean, breakfast was great nothing is to much trouble Keiran is a great host an very friendly . This BnB is in a great location close to local pubs (ockgrove)that u past when walking into town are really Friendly with great music on at the weekends
