Extremely friendly hosts. Nice, cosy and clean place. It totally suited our needs. Breakfast was made with love and always fresh. The property's location was good and quiet, but it's necessary to have a car.

Pool was a bit small and breakfast was not abundant. We didn't particularly like Playa de Carmen, but that's not the property's fault.

The property was clean and nice. It was a quiet neighborhood. Room was a nice size and the bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. It was very clean. Owners/Managers were very nice.

The walk to 5th Avenue, which is the main street for Playa De Carmen was a bit far to walk, but very close for a taxi or if you have a car.

Perfect first accommodation in Mexico! Swimming pool was great, we loved the breakfasts, the hosts were perfect and their service first class. We were delighted to hear they can offer special discounts on attractions. Thanks to them we visited Rio Secreto and Cozumel. They even helped us to get to the next accommodation. We felt really well looked after and it was simply perfect welcoming to Mexico and experience of Mexican generosity and kindness. Nice to have tv with Netflix! We could use bikes, there was shopping mall nearby. The house was in very quiet and safe location and you could ask about anything and could trust 100%. We loved our stay in Casa Gem and wishing Itsel and Serafin all the best!

Very friendly hosts, place was beautiful and clean, comfortable King bed, hot and powerful shower, perfect for our overnight stay on our way through Playa del Carmen.

Everything, very nice structure and friendly family staff (Itzal and Seraphine), good breakfast and parking availability. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Close enough to the center (but we had a car). Very good value of the money for what you get.

Not related to the structure per se, but if you are looking for a day trip to Cozumel, just go there and book something on the spot (there is a lot of companies and availability), booking in advance via the B&B structure is not really a bargain (costs more than booking on the spot).

The room was tastefully, furnished and spotlessly clean. The linens were very good quality as were the pillows and mattress. The shower heated up quickly, and was very large with plenty of water from the showerhead. There was a little Nespresso coffee maker, which was very convenient. I loved everything about the property.

The hosts were so friendly and the room was very clean!! Also very quiet area and the breakfast was delicious. You can get free shuttles to the city centre. :)

It was only far out of the centre of Playa del Carmen (especially when you want to walk) but therefore it was so quiet.

They welcome you like you were a member of the family. My host was so smiley and welcoming, he even accepted to wake up earlier to get my breakfast ready a little earlier than it should because I was in a hurry. Perfect !

Run by the loveliest people, with great advice about Cozumel and local excursion. Homemade breakfast every morning was a real delight! Nice to be away from the rush of Playa central.

The service provided by the hosts was just amazing! They tried so hard to make sure our stay was safe and comfortable. And the free order to make breakfast was tasty! We loved the scrambled eggs and chilaquiles.

The room was super basic with a motel style. The AC was not working so well as even with the lowest temp of 16 degrees we still felt so hot inside the room. We wish there could be more hanger in the room that way we can hang our wet clothes. But considering the price and service, we still had a great time staying here. Also if you are driving, do remeber to turn right when you see the HongKong restaurant as that's the only road that can access the hotel.

I had such an amazing time in my two nights stay, I would definitely stay longer next time because parking is safe and the room is spacious, clean and good quality in the linens is always appreciated. Thanks to the gracious staff.

Breakfast is included but the choices are limited and you're only entitled to one drink. Two dollars if you want a refil. As soon as we arrived the attendant warned us to take everything out of our car even hats in case it was vandalized. So that put us uneasy..

The accommodation provided everything what we needed, room was very clean and big enough with nice bathroom. There was also a kitchen corner with basic things for cooking. Location was very quiet. Hosts are very kind and welcoming, they made a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed everything about my stay and would recommend to everyone!

The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful— quick to respond to messages prior to our visit, and being there for our early arrival. They also drove us to town center and picked up on time later in the day. Breakfast was authentic and good. Casa Gem was elegant, clean, and quiet.

The location is a bit far from town or other places of interest so car transportation is easiest. There were bikes to borrow but we didn’t have a chance to use them.
