Experiência excecional, fomos muito bem recebidos e óptimo para alguém como nós que levou um cãozinho.
Gostei de tudo, não houve nada negativo durante a estadia.

- The animals and bio feel of the farm;
- The pools (indoor and outdoor) with their 24x7 open policy;
- The experiences provided to children (horse riding, get eggs from chicken,...).
- Wooden paths already need maintenance and some are becoming an hazard;
- Indoor pool area is slippery;
- Restaurant staff misses some requests (need to repeat several times);
- Water used in the pool and showers was brownish and tainted swimsuits.

Wonderful position in the middle of pure nature.
Great design of the building and nice concepts of. Bio farm where you can be active part of the resort
Great breakfast
- maintenance: in the peak season, i expect the resort to be working at full speed. During my stay, 4 days, the steam bath was not working, the air conditioning in the rooms was broken (apparently, from other reviews, something persistent from previous months), the kids swimming pool out of order for a couple of days. The pools’ bathroom had lights broken for the whole stay
- service: not at the level I would have expected. The pool areas was not regularly cleaned from used towels and glasses/bottles. The staff was not always adequate: some of them where not fluent neither in English nor in Portuguese
- food: breakfast was good, while lunch menu and dinner menu were expensive and without clear personality. I took part to the bbq dinner, but I was expecting “more” than chicken, sardines and octopus, especially for the price asked. There was a lot of vegetables, but still I would have expected more meats or fish.

Pool, staff, accommodation, set-up, design & art, yoga, massages, horse back ride for kids, bicycles to tour the grounds
Limited menu, no soft drinks or smoothies, pretty steep price

Profoundly dissatisfied with the experience I had during my three-night stay. Read below. Nonetheless, I liked the food, the pool, and the environment. But, as a client, I need to share what happened.
Unfortunately, the standards and conditions of the hotel did not align with what was expected, resulting in an extremely uncomfortable stay.
The main issue we encountered was the malfunctioning air conditioning in our room. This had a direct impact on our quality of sleep, especially considering that we had a baby and a child with respiratory problems. Despite promptly reporting the situation to the reception, the proposed solution was inadequate and unsatisfactory. The mere offer of a fan did not address the underlying problem of the air conditioning not functioning properly.
Furthermore, I would like to highlight the inconvenience of having to change rooms at 10 p.m. on the eve of our departure due to the persistent air conditioning issue. This situation was highly unfavorable, particularly considering our strict schedules due to the needs of our children and infants.
As guests, we expected a pleasant and comfortable stay with all the amenities promised by the hotel. Unfortunately, this was not fulfilled, resulting in discomfort and frustration throughout the duration of our stay.
I kindly request immediate corrective action regarding these issues. I hope that Hotel Craveiral will reassess its procedures and take measures to ensure that rooms are properly equipped and fully functional, in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable stay for its guests.
I sincerely hope that you take this complaint seriously and offer a satisfactory solution to compensate for the inconveniences and discomfort we experienced during our stay. Additionally, I hope that measures will be implemented to prevent other guests from facing similar situations in the future.
Thank you in advance for your attention, and I look forward to receiving a prompt response.
Yours sincerely,
Francisco Lourenço

It’s a beautiful place with a very relaxed vibe. The staff are lovely.
The only thing I’d have liked would have been a shower next to the pool and some steps to get in/out of it. These seem like small things but make a big difference. Otherwise it was spectacular, thank you!

Our second stay at Craveiral - we love it! Delicious food, friendly staff and great rooms and pool.

good location, staff was great and attentive to details.
breakfast was banal with limited choices, restaurant is not endorsed by chef Alexandre Silva but it is still advertised as it was. Restaurant menu far below expectations with few choices. Gym is located in a indoor heat pool with rusty equipment and with an a/c pointlessly working 24/7…what about that for a eco hotel, right? No hot water in the room in the morning and a bad smell from the pipes in the bathroom.

Craverial Farmhouse is a beautiful spot. Pools galore, lots of animals and vegetable gardens. Our apartment was in the back and had a private pool for just a few houses which was a huge bonus.
We loved the property. It was very busy with familes - lots of kids - which we liked but worth noting.

it is a very relaxed environment, the staff, the location and the general vibe of the Herade. The food source from the home grown produce was great. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an opportunity to self cater, though we didn’t use this facility. I had the best omelette ever from the breakfast bar which on the whole was a good spread.
The indoor facilities were poor. IE the indoor pool and the gym (which was next to the steam room in the indoor pool area making it impossible to use as the atmosphere was way too humid and hot). The evening menu was limited.

It was the best hotel experience I have ever had!
The room was modern and stylish, our windows looked at the farm, and we could see the donkeys from our place.
The hotel exceeded our expectations: we had a more comfortable room than we ordered and a lavish bath!
The hotel is dog friendly: dogs can come to the main building, walk the whole territory, lay over the tables during breakfast, and so on. It was amazing!
The hotel owner (Pedro) invited us to have a dinner cooked by an ex-Michelin chef, and it was the best dinner I had had in Portugal! It was delicious!
I'm more than 100% sure that we will come to this place many times in the future

Indoor pool facilities need update

One of the most dog friendly places we have stayed at. It is possible to visit a restaurant with your furry friend. They also provide a dog bed depending on your dog size.
Spa zone looks as if the disaster happened overnight.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at

Beautiful and unique setting, with wonderful friendly staff and excellent attention to detail. Our little girl loved going to see the animals, and the warm indoor pool was perfect for her when the weather was poor one day. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice. It is clear that the whole place has been imagined with a lot of passion and love. We were upgraded from a studio to a 1-bedroom house which was a nice surprise! The accommodation was very spacious and well-appointed and we liked the zero waste toiletries provided. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, giving us ideas for nearby walking routes, activities, recipes for using produce you can pick on-site etc.
Sadly, the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were all broken during our stay. I noted that many reviews over the last few months say the same thing, so there is clearly a maintenance issue. The small gym is a nice idea, but the (good quality) machines already look rusty in places. The potential for the hotel facilities is truly five-star, but the reality is that there needs to be a lot of repairs in order to make the guest experience match what they are trying to do. Perhaps they are trying to take on too much too quickly. Despite all of this, we’d definitely recommend and would return.

pet and fresh produce to pick from own land. spacious

for this price category, would have loved to see an
option for a daily yoga or other movement class in
the morning.

Too much noise, lack of amenities, maintenance was very poor and the staff did not offer sufficient support.
At breakfast, no one come to help us or to say if there were, for instance, eggs options or pasteries.

wild and immersed in nature, modern accommodation, well-organized with good facilities and activities, sustainable philosophy,
presence of gardens with fruit and vegetables at hand.
food menu doesn’t change across days. would have liked to have more local dishes and less pasta and pizza.

Breakfast was very good with home made bread served every morning and the hotel was very nice. Alejandro from the resturant was great
Menu from the restaurant was too limited and should have more options given there are no restaurants in the sourroundings

The property had some nice elements, lovely clean rooms and a nice breakfast. Was nice to walk around the vegetable gardens and see the farm animals.
The beds were uncomfortable and hard. We had many mosquitos in the room at night even after keeping doors closed. Better system for bicycles as you don’t feel comfortable taking a bike from outside someone else’s room. Very limited options for gluten free meals at the restaurant. More salad or vegetables would be nice especially on a farm.

Gorgeous location, lovely staff, very relaxing and rooms were lovely and very well equipped. They were able to find excellent babysitters. Kids loved the warmth of the indoor pool, bicycles and tractors to ride around in, and the opportunity to feed the goats.
The decking should be fixed so people don’t trip over the jutting out boards and nails, or get splinters from the peeling wood. The indoor spa should’ve been fixed and cleaned - a pile of dirt remained on the bottom in the same corner for five days. Excessive smoke in the restaurant area in the evenings and even in the morning just from the wood fires ovens without the campfires.
