we loved the location but if you’re a light sleeper maybe stay on the back side of the property. i specifically asked to be on the front the view of the bridge and church was the sweetest but there is some unavoidable noise :)

We were right in the heart of the old town just a short walk to the old bridge. The hotel/restaurant is in a lovely old building dating back centuries. The rooms are very modern. The breakfast bar and dinner are amazing. The staff are courteous and accommodating This is the BEST place to stay.

There are no negatives with this place! All was wonderful. You are very much of your can stay in this establishment.

Quaint, traditional German hotel in a fantastic location. we had a very quiet room, which we were grateful for.

Wonderful location, right next to the old bridge and church downtown. Resturants were right outside the front door and the interior was very cozy.

Breakfast was short staffed but I know this is happening everywhere.

Location perfect. Breakfast good, restaurant traditional and very good. Atmosphere traditionally German, unlike bland chain hotels. Fresh fruit available on landing. Complementary sweets, wine and water in room. Room perfectly clean and good bathroom.

Pillows aged, soft and need replacing. Prefer good pillows to complentary items.

Beautiful hotel in the center of the old city. A perfect point to stay for a weekend to see all attractions of this lovely city, Breakfast was great and diner at the hotel restaurant, was an enjoyment, food and wine were just perfect! Room was quite big, and bed comfortable. Heating was working properly during these cold winter days. Personel was very friendly and professionals.

Amazing location and staff!! We loved everything about staying here from the friendly welcome, ability to store our luggage since we arrived early in the day, wonderful breakfast, and ease of walking to so many great restaurants and shops, the castle and the Christmas market. Great for families.

very cool old feel building in the old town. staff was amazing and so friendly. will stay there again when in Heidelberg again. breakfast was on the small side, and yet was excellent.

This darling little hotel was located right in the old town and close to the Christmas market areas, yet it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was great, with a nice variety on the buffet; there was an elevator; WiFi worked well; and our room for 3 was spacious. We also ate dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor and all three of us thought our meal was delicious. Our train on departure day left several hours after checkout and we were able to leave our suitcases at the desk. If you are looking for the small check-in area, enter through the restaurant and it is past the dining area on the left. This, for me, would be a definite return-to spot for Heidelberg.

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and serves delicious food - we enjoyed the german breakfast options and such a cosy dinner! The staff were all super helpful and friendly and fluent in english. The room itself is comfortable and clean if a bit dated. Good shower pressure and very comfy beds. The location is amazing with the church at one end of the street and the old bridge at the other.

Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful Location and view was amazing. Room was spacious, very comfortable. Bathroom set up was amazing with plenty of room and nice area to set up chargers for our phones and watches.

Typical old style hotel right in the heart of the old town. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Walking distance to all major sights. Cute hotel with excellent restaurant.

Parking is not available due to the old town location. There is public parking nearby but it is very expensive - we were charged €58 for just three days. Avoid the Schloss carpark.

I loved the location and Dennis who worked at the hotel. He was so friendly and helpful. Parking was a little bit away but an easy walk and they gave us a great discount as guests of the hotel. The room was small but very comfortable. We ate dinner night and the food was excellent. They also had a nice breakfast which was an additional charge but convenient.

The location is exceptional. I asked for a quiet room and they complied.

Being a central and old building, the facilities are old and there is not much comfort. The normal price is expensive and you will have to choose between comfort or location, but if you get an offer the choice is very clear. The public parking is far.
