Excellent location and the view to the main square. Large living room with a lot of space, enough to have a dinner party for 10 people (not exaggerating).

No soap, no salt, no cooking oil, no matches to light the stove. So you have full kitchen, but you can’t even cook anything unless you bring your own matches and salt, and you can’t wash the dishes without soap. Very strange mix of apartment and hotel.

The location is perfect. Plenty of Hot water.

It would be a lot nicer to have some soap and a kettle in the kitchen. Since there is gas, it would be easier to find matches, as well. The shower is very small and the floor gets wet very quickly.

Great location. Peaceful and a good base for some day walks.

The unit had a kitchen with gas cooktop but nothing was provided to light the gas and were weren't informed that we would need to bring something to light it. So the only option was to buy a lighter at the shop below for an outrageous 2.75euro. There was nothing to enable washing dishes or cleaning up in the kitchen; no dish liquid, no sponge, no dish brush. The advertising we read stated 'fully equipped'

no kettle in the room, no lighter for the gas hob. not enough crockery if you to eat indoors one day. very uncomfortable seating in lounge, noise every night from downstairs, I heard the same music, every night, and I was on the top floor. The train to go down is expensive to use daily.

Great location, superb dinners (we had half board), great museum with great paintings.

There is no reception at Abat Marcet and the checkin is at hotel Abat Cisneros. This is not written on the booking confirmation so we ended up lost with kids at 9pm. The contact telephone provided just a recorded message in Spanish. In the end we started to visit different objects asking for help and finally resolved the situation.

Very good place to take a brake from city noise. Good hiking tracks. Very quiet after 18:00 when mass of tourists leaves. Ascetic and grounded rooms, the bare minimum required.

Easy check in process, nice staff that also speaks good English. Nice view and location as well.

It´s my second time at this hotel and the kitchen facilities could have been much better. No matches to light the gas stove, no formula or sponge etc. to do the dishes (same problem last time I was here). The reception had matches but we had to buy things to do our dishes. Not much cutlery or kettles to make dinner.

The location in the very heart of Montserrat, 45 min from Barcelona. Cheap and clean!

The location is great, and the apartments are clean. The reception staff was helpful and informative.

Toiletries were not included. It wasn't clear where the reception was and the room key was to be collected from the reception of a different hotel.

I tried to extend my stay at the reception desk, the woman there told me everything was full, including the hostel and hotel. Afterwards I looked online and saw that there actually were available apartments. Went back to the woman at the reception desk and she told me "no the information on booking.com is wrong". I got a weird feeling from her because she didn't even check a second time, so I just booked the room online and went back another day to see if they could let me stay in my room instead of moving to another one. There was someone else there who came across more hospitable and he took care of it. Makes me wonder what the issue was for the woman who rejected my extension twice...

It was great to have an apartment right inside Montserrat. The apartment itself was comfortable and well heated. The kitchen was decently equipped. We were able to bring our dog.

There were no sponges or dish soap in the kitchen or soap in the bathroom. These things are not possible to buy in Montserrat so it's a shame the apartment was not equipped enough. Even though we could bring our dog, there was very little we could do with him in Montserrat. He was not allowed into the cafe or either of the restaurants. Since the apartment is run by the same entity that runs all of Montserrat, this made little sense to us.

Location. The cleaning staff was very kind.

There is no Reception in the building, and there is no information about it. We had to ask the cleaning staff. There was no lighter in the kitchen, and when we tried to call Reception to ask about it, we found out that the phone didn't work. Check-out is too early (10:00 am) Parking is too far away. Reception didn't provide a lot of information when we checked in.
