Location was great, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The house was well presented and clean with lots of cooking utensils and crockery. Fireplace was great but didn't really heat up the downstairs area, plenty of wood provided for fireplace. Great views from the dining table and lounge area. Washing machine and dryer were provided, easy to use. Heaters in each bedroom was a bonus as was the heater in the bathroom (downstairs). Overall this house was great and provided everything we needed for a wonderful time in Queenstown.

Stairs to top floor could have used hand rails all the way up as was a bit dangerous for the last 3 or 4 steps especially for older ladies. The stairs to the laundry needs a hand rail for the second level of stairs, once again quite dangerous for older people.

The location was really good. Perfect position to easily walk into town. Close to all the facilities. The house was very spacious for 5 adults. Exceptionally clean. House was easy to warm up and plenty of hot water.

The decor is a little dated but didn't effect our stay at all.

Perfect location - walking distance to absolutely everything. The beds were all very comfortable and warm, and the fire gave the home a nice cosy touch. Will definitely stay here again!

No top sheet on the beds, just the duvet, (as kiwis we are used to a top sheet) No block out curtains in the bedrooms

The beds were so comfortable and the cleanliness was exceptional. Great water pressure and facilities were great.

The place was very cold, there as no curtains in the lounge and dining room. When we lit the fire the fumes from the paint on the flue were over powering. Nowhere did it say we could not light it .

The property was tired and needing renovation. Rotten floor by shower in bathroom. Stair handrail wobbly. Noise at night from the gondolla.

Communication was excellent. Location was brilliant - walking distance to town. Loved the big bin recycling facilities. The spa bath was great and they had a coffee machine that they supplied some capsules to start our week off. We stayed in summer which they had a air conditioning unit but would be great in winter too with a fireplace and wood supplied or the heatpump.

This place was great for us but if I had to put anything it would be that it could do with upgrades to bathroom floors and a bit of general maintenance

location was exceptional, beds v comfy and communication from manager was great. they also gave us a bottle of bubbles for NYE which was very thoughtful!

minimal glassware and crockery (far fewer than in pictures) and very tired/dated decor, damage to walls etc. has a huge amount of potential with some cosmetic touch ups and new furniture etc. however, all of this could be seen from the photos so we knew what we were getting into :)

Great location close to town just 5 mins walk to main shops. Super helpful host who answered all questions very promptly. Amazing views. We rented a spa for the week and put it on outside deck and it worked perfectly. Very warm house with plenty of heating options.

A little old and in need of a good renovation however has everything you need.

Dated and heat escaped through stairwell

Everything we needed (cutlery/switches/wood/spare towels etc) was easy to find. The house very close to the city centre so it was easy to just walk everywhere. Had a beautiful view from the top floor and the fire warmed the whole house up which was great cause it was a chilly weekend. It was comfy and homely.

The fire & heat pump were great. Huge washing machine & dryer. Great views from upstairs. It was clean & there was extra bedding available. Location was convenient, a 5 min. walk to central Queenstown. All the expected kitchen utensils were there & in good condition.

It looks like the house has not been redecorated since the 80's. Everything is looking tired. Curtains were a mix-n-match. Wardrobe doors had been removed, downstairs bathroom door would not close, bathroom window almost fell off. The driveway was overgrown. The repairs that had been carried out were of low standard. Light hanging out from its fitting in the lounge, another held up with bluetac. We ran out of data on the second day.
