Being close to the beach and the pool. John and Sheree were extremely helpful and friendly. Having all the facilities such as kitchen and washing machine were great especially for a few weeks stay.

location, access, spotless clean

Exceptional! I loved this place. The apartment was extremely well appointed - every kitchen utensil you could wish for, plus full sized fridge/ freezer, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher! There was aircon which worked brilliantly and additional ceiling fans to the lounge and bedroom. The balcony was beautiful and the view of the ocean was worth a million dollars. You could hear the waves crash all day and night - it was simply blissful. The photos do not do these apartments justice, the ocean is literally on the doorstep. Clifton beach is a perfect location, very small and secluded, but there is a coles, Liquorland, chemist, dominos pizza, post office and petrol station, etc., close by. The pool is magnificent, clean and sparkling and a really good size if, like me, you needed to get some training laps done - also a fabulous location if you need to run in the mornings, perfect coastal path to accommodate this. The shower was hot and powerful, bed was very comfy. Very clean all round and no neighbour noises through walls etc. The owners were very friendly, attentive and accommodating and were more than happy to help when called upon. I would stay here again and recommend it to all.

The person below me was constantly smoking very strong cigarettes or cigars, which limited my enjoyment of the balcony. Not the fault of the property, just an unfortunate thing for me to have inconsiderate people below.

Aircon is located in the living area and you need to set it low temperature / high speed to also keep the temperature down in the bedroom

The rooms were self contained and located right on the beach so to wake up grab a coffee and sit on the balcony and listen to the waves was cool. Swimming pool was amazing!

Property was exceptionally well maintained. Excellent air con which we needed in the heat!! Gorgeous views and pool was wonderful, surrounded by tropical plants. Bed was so comfortable. Staff were really lovely and friendly. Easy to find, door was unlocked with key inside so you were able to have no contact if you choose to. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning on my next trip.

We could have used a few more towels for a 5 night stay, but there was a very easy to use washing machine and drier. So was not a major issue at all.

My apartment is beautifully appointed and maintained, with lovely and important little touches like (real) pot plants and ornaments, along with some impressive artwork on the walls and a feature bed-head, which compliments & completes the 'beach' theme. The furniture isn't the 'same' furniture seen in so many apartments and resorts, it's individual and unique to the apartment, making it even more homey. The view from the private, beachfront balcony is breathtaking - watching both moon and sunrises from here left me awestruck. The pool is excellent, and the staff are friendly, relaxed and helpful. Across the road (the beach) is peaceful and serene - you may see a few local dogs walking their humans in the mornings and evenings, but the rest of the time you feel as though the entire beach is yours alone. There are so many more good things about this apartment and the resort itself to say, but I don't have the space to say it!

The apartments are natural heat-traps, so air-con in the bedroom is a necessity. The private, beachfront balconies are also sadly heat-traps, exacerbated by the placement of air-conditioning exhausts on them. I recommend ground or 1st floor apartments, because if your neighbour below or beside you is using their a/c the exhaust heat rises and blows over you, getting trapped and leaving a cloying heat. Lastly, many resorts, hotels and airbnbs are currently buying these cheap, tacky, polyester-stuffed pillows, and I was disappointed that the trend was continued here. They offer zero neck support, and because they're polyester in the tropics you're more inclined to sweat, even with protective pillow-cases.

Only improvement would be the Wi-Fi which is really slow. I struggled with fast internet. Maybe an update to the TV in the room as it’s a little old but honestly I’m picky as overall the accommodation was excellent!
