Really nice, clean and calm guest house to relax

Penelope und ihr Mann haben uns super herzlich empfangen. Wir finden die beiden ausgesprochen sympathisch. Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Vor allem die großen Fenster über Eck haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war klasse, vor allem das frische Obst hat ganz hervorragend geschmeckt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können Penelope sehr empfehlen.

Penelope's place was neat, immaculately clean and comfortable. It's a perfect spot for a stop in Stellenbosch, close enough to the town but far out enough to experience the quieter suburb feel. We stayed here for a night while attending an event close by and the room was perfect for our short stay. The room is spacious, light and airy and Penelope caters for all the small details. Better than photos. We appreciated all the small details in the room, which made our stay that much more comfortable. Side note - her home made rusks are delicious!

Herzlicher Empfang und sicherer Parkplatz. Hübsches, sauberes und helles Zimmer mit schönem Balkon. Bad geräumig mit Dusche. Küche zur Allgemeinnutzung mit großem Kühlschrank. Betten komfortabel und ruhiger Schlaf in sicherer Wohngegend. Frühstück ausreichend und lecker, Eierspeisen optional. Man erhält viele Infos und fühlt sich willkommen. Dankeschön!!!

Our stay was peaceful and tranquil. A very comfortable stay in a lovely neighborhood. Penelope's welcome was very warm and friendly. We will certainly book again. Thank you.
A minor adjustment for a 10 out of 10, is the absence of a nice comfortable wingback chair in the room. The rest, simply perfect. Thank you.

Perfectly situated for our rides and exploring the wine region. Penelope was an incredible host, very accommodating and so helpful. We had all of our cycling kit and clothing washed after being at a stage race

Amazing breakfast, great rooms and service. Bonus - there was a cute pool where we could rest before our flight. We really enjoyed our stay at Penelope's guest house.

We had a nice room with a balcon.
The breakfast was delicious fresh bacon & eggs, cheese, bread and fruit. Nothing we missed.
We had a nice time, had a lovely hike at Jonkershoek and many wine tastings. Penelope and her husband were very kind and had many ideas about what to do. Our favorit wine estate was Boschendal.

A lovely house in the comfortable suburbs about 10 minutes drive from the town centre and close to Stellenbosch Golf Club. Very nice room with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. Penelope was a super friendly and helpful host, who made us feel welcome and she shared many tips for great places to visit nearby that we would not have otherwise known about. Breakfast was delicious and served in the garden or kitchen depending on the weather.

Penelope and her husband are great hosts, the area is a quite nice and silence one and still just a few minutes to drive to town. breakfast was great with fruits, cereals, tee/coffee, toasts and eggs prepared to your favour. clean and comfortable rooms, …
there is not really much to mention. if so, fly screens would be just perfect to have due to that we had mosquitos. unfortunately fly screens seem not to be very common in ZA.

Centrally located in a small and quiet street. Secure parking on the premise. Nice house, modern immaculate clean room with big balcony. Pool in rear garden with lush vegetation. Nice cooked breakfast. Penelope and her husband are great sypmpathic hosts who also give recommendations.
We were looking forward to watch one game of football worldcup on TV but only Netflix available. However Penelope advised us to go to a sportsbar nearby which was a great choice 🙂
