The hotel it’s not in the center of the city but it’s within walking distance

Hot water was a bit of a challenge

There was somebody there when we checked in at 6am

Not enough water to shower for 6 if you have the room for 6 people

The location was wonderful walking distance to the famous Santo Domingo church restaurant and many beautiful locations

Clean and the location was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace is fantastic.

No AC in my room. However, as soon as I opened a window and turned on the ceiling fan, the room became comfortable in spite of the muggy heat outside.

The place was clean, king size bed, but noisy from the street. It was close to downtown. The value was very good!

I liked the location because its a 5 minute walk to the temple of Santo Domingo and the public transportation passes right out side which takes you to various places around the city for an inexpensive price.

I didn't like how the light of my room was very dim, my shower door would get stuck everytime I showered and the TV signal didn't connect in the three days therefor I couldn't watch anything on the tv.

If there was the possibility to give ZERO, I would. Dirty rooms (long black hair everywhere) very noisy, people talking and chatting in the hall and floor until late (1:00 am). Our bathroom was not working (impossible to rinse in the shower, sink’s drain not working at all). I complained and they gave me a screwdriver to fix the problem - INSANE!! Also, only one of the lights in the bedroom was working. Then finally they understood (after my third complaint) and gave me a new room (without air conditioning even if my booking included air conditioning). The guy at the reception during night hours was very unpleasant and unhelpful. To complete this nightmare, after my stay they deleted my booking from booking.com saying that I did not show up (booking.com contacted me to understand this situation, I am still in communication to solve this problem). Unfortunately for this place I have proof of payment in my credit card bill, for Parador Crespo “Hotel”. RIDICOLI. This is not a hotel, this is actually a HOSTEL or even worse. How is it possible that this place 8 out of 10? La più INDECENTE accommodation of my life.

Staff were great. Roof terrace had beautiful views.

Room was very hot. There were small flies in the bathroom sink.

When I arrived I got a room that was right next to the street, the night was one of my worsts ever. The road is one of the main ones so there are many many buses passing through all the time. The temperature was also an issue because the room didn’t have any air conditioner and there was no way to keep the window closed! Thankfully for the next night I asked for a different room and they were really kind and fast to give us a solution, after that the nights were great, and we also had air conditioner.

Bathroom wasn’t super clean (clumps of hair in the shower when we arrived) but that’s my only minor complaint and the staff, location and price made up for it.

There was loud music from some restaurant nearby until 11pm and beds were not comfortable.
