Very spacious beautiful heritage rooms, friendly hosts and perfect location. We highly recommend Colhurst house. Note too that guests can use a communal kitchen with microwave and crockery. The stove cannot currently be used.

The property is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained (as per the pictures)

unfortunately our shower was temperamental as the hot water kept cutting off and on continiously (the white room).

The accommodation was fantastic. Like walking into something from a long time ago, which we love. The room exhibited furnishings from many years ago. Bathroom was olde worldly but very functional. We were there in winter and the heating was excellent. The property is also well located for easy access to the commercial center of Mount Gambier.

The grounds were pretty. The building was interesting. The staff were great. Effort had been put into guest welcome materials, etc.

The room was very strangely laid out and did not feel well thought through. It was odd. The room, including the bathroom, felt shabby and an afterthought.

Beautiful property well presented with friendly and courteous staff. A pleasure to stay here and will do so again when travelling through Mt Gambier

Lovely old house with beautiful garden in fantastic location. Obviously a bit dated, but that doesn’t bother me. Great that I could self cater if I so desired. Would love to bring my family to stay. Access was easy and “no fuss”. Loved returning at the end of the day to find room made up and lights and aircon on. Loved having a balcony.

We organised a cheese platter on arrival which was beautiful. Lily was an amazing host and check in was easy. Room was stunning and balcony has a gorgeous view.

Check in was a bit awkward as no staff on site. Had to call them twice before someone came. Would have liked some info/history about the house available on site.

The property was alright and didn't meet our expectations. We liked that there were amenities in the room and the room had comfortable bed. Late checkin services and frequent followups were a bonus too. Helpful staff.

The downstairs living room was dirty and there was no staff in the premises to answer our queries. We had to call multiple times to locate the parking and fan remote. We expected the property to be breathtaking but it was more of passable. They can work on the interior of the room and improve on multiple things such as making lighting adequate, bathtub to be clean and make it par to the other hotels the group has.

location was great . it didn’t meet our expectations

no information regarding no breakfast inforior pillows. disappointed about the presentation of the bathroom sanity wrap left on the floor from previous guest / shower screen had built up lime and therefore presented dirty. bathroom wall above the door way near the manhole had dirty mark .

Room was comfy, spacious and well set out, we had the White Room. Was lovely.

Nothing. It doesn’t do breakfast at present, under new ownership, but awaiting sign changes. Didn’t affect us at all.
