Light was limited

Perfect location in the centre in a beautiful historic building with nice restaurant at ground floor. Flawless check in with code or through restaurant stuff. We had one request to cleaning service which was communicated via Marianna and immediately fulfilled. The room is stylish, comfortable and clean. You need to close the windows though to keep street noise away. Restaurant is serving perfect breakfast and lunches. If you are looking for perfect place in the centre of PDL you have found it.

The room was very nice and clean and had a small kitchen which is a bonus. The location is great.

Clean, spacious and convenient for town centre. Would have rate excellent overall, but most nights had horrendous noise throughout the night between 23.00 - 08.00 hours from night club opposite. Most unfortunate as otherwise was perfect.

Location was great, pretty much in the middle of the old town. Apartment was one of about 9 total. It was clean, plenty of space, elevator, and a small kitchenette. Also right above a nice cafe run by hotel. Staff we interacted with were very helpful

With a central location comes some noise. We were across from a bar that started up about 23:00 and closed at 8:00. Fortunately with windows and shutters closed almost all noise was blocked out.

The room was big and beautiful. The kitchenette in the room came in handy. The location is stellar. The staff (Mariana) was incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

the room was clean with daily room service. also the communication with the staff was flexible and fast. The room was big and comfortable to stay in.

The walls were very thin and the smell from my neighbours cooking was instantly all over the room. pillows were a bit too high but no big trouble.

there’s a bar adjacent that opens around 10 and carry’s on inside and outside until 5-6 am extremely noisy, not much sleep even with shutters closed and ear plugs

-Great building architecture -Modern minimalist room -Well located in the city center -Nice coffeshop in the building, perfect for breakfast and snacks

-The bathroom had a defect and couldn’t close well -Most annoying thing hapened at the checkout. We had a very early flight so we had to leave the location at 5:30 in the morning. The host told us to leave the key in the room but when we reach the exist found the downstairs building door closed! Our key was in the room which door could be opend only by using the key. I really think they should review their early checkout procedure!

Noise from the nightclub close by

The hotel and rooms where great and the staff in both the hotel and cafe where great. Very informative and helpful when asked to change rooms.

A nightclub is just in a lane outside and unless you are a very sound sleeper you will spend most of the night awake with the noise until it closes at 7am when if your here to visit you probably will be getting up.

This is a lovely, centrally located hotel. On the outside this a lovely old world style building, inside the rooms are modern and comfortable!

We really liked our stay at this hotel. The room “Flores” is on the third floor, it has a very nice design. The room also has a small kitchen, you could even cook there if you want.

Great location in the center of Ponta Delgada. Nice historical building. We got "Sao Miguel" room - it was huge! Bed was comfortable. We arrived early in the morning even before the attached cafe opens, and the hostess provided us with the door code so we were able to leave our luggage there till check-in time.

One night there was noise at 4am from people leaving nearby nightclub. Other nights were quiet.

wonderful location, really cosy

Very good location. We were pleasantly surprised by daily housekeeping, interesting interior of the studio, nice view of the city. Excellent exterior noise proofing by great windows. Great cafe downstairs. WI-FI was good.

lack of parking.Although we figured out the way to park free overnight in the apartment building vicinity. We wish the shower partition was wider or had some kind of sliding door to avoid splashing outside the shower space. Because of this we couldn’t really enjoy the shower. The water pressure and temperature was fluctuating at times. Pretty strong smell of wood stain, or some cleaning solution. We wish there were windows screens to allow to open the windows and avoid use of AC.
