We were three families with six teenage boys between us. The accommodation was perfect for us as the boys could have their own place which suited them and us perfectly! It was great to each have our own kitchens and bathrooms too. The pool area is beautiful and the canopy provided some much needed shade. Scilicli was a beautiful town to visit and eat out in. All in all a really wonderful holiday that we all loved - thank you so much Elena!

This is a great house if you travel 3-4 families like we did. 4 good apartments, 1 big ”for all” area with Kitchen and TV room. The pool area could not be better with grill, a nice place for dinner, boule, tennis, basket, table football, table tennis. Also a playground for small kids. The house is located 5-7 minutes by car to Beach and 15 minutes to beautiful Marina di Ragusa. 5 min to good supermarket. Strong recommendations for a bigger goup.

A lovely property with plenty of space for a larger group. We were a group of extended family so the combination of separate living areas but the option of the communal rating areas was perfect. There was plenty of space for everyone and the extra shirts activities such as table tennis and basketball were a bonus.
The owners were easy to contact.
Transport is essential as it is a 10 minutes drive from nearest facilities and the coast.
My only slight criticism was that it was an expensive property that had several small things broken but this didn't soul the holiday at all.
We had waited 3 years to finally get together on this holiday and it didn't disappoint!

A great villa made up of 4 separate apartments which works well for a big family group all looking for a bit of their own space. The hosts were great, attentive, and also connected us with some local chefs who we hired to cook for us on 3 of the nights. The pool and surrounding areas became the centre for all activities and we loved the place.

Schönes Haus mit Verbesserungspotenzial
Insgesamt ein eigentlich schönes Fleckchen Erde mit vielen Aktivtäten. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und die Kommunikation verlief gut und schnell.
Einige Dinge hätten wir gerne anders gehabt.
Pro:
- Apartments mit jeweils eigenen Badezimmern und Küchen mit guter Ausstattung
- Trotz Hitze relativ kühl im Haus, auch bei wenig Klimaanlagennitzung
- Viele Sportmöglichkeiten (Tennis, Basketball, etc.)
- Pool ist gut gepflegt, inkl. täglicher Service rund um die Poolarea (Es wird aufgeräumt und sauber gemacht)
-Schöne Aussicht aus zwei von vier Appartmens mit Meerblick.
-Viele schattige Plätze zum verweilen
-Viele BBQ Plätze
Contra:
- Für uns das größte Manko war, dass das Haus direkte Nachbarn hat (Wand an Wand), die sich auch auf dem Gelände bewegen. Man hat das Haus und Gelände also nicht allein. Das hätte in der Beschreibung vermerkt werden müssen.
- Es gab Wege die wir nicht betreten durften, da die Nachbarn da wohnten.
- Zwei Appartments hatten keinen direkten Pool Zugang, sodass man diese Wege, die nicht betreten werden sollten, nutzen musste oder ein großen Bogen machen musste.
- Es war relativ viel Betrieb auf dem Gelände, d.h. es fuhren regelmäßig Autos die Einfahrt zum Haus hoch und es waren dort oft uns unbekannte Menschen unterwegs (vermutlich Freunde der Nachbarn oder Angestellte)
- Es gab viele streunende Katzen, die das Essen draußen zur Geduldsprobe machten und teilweise auf die Tische sprangen und das Essen klauten.
Die Vermieter haben sich dafür ausdrücklich entschuldigt und angegeben, dass die Katzen nach unserem Aufenthalt in ein Tierheim gebracht werden. Es ist aber leider nicht nachvollziehbar, warum sie damit warten bis wir wieder weg sind.
- Die Reinigungskräfte haben sich täglich den ganzen Vormittag auf dem Gelände aufgehalten und sich nicht sehr rücksichtsvoll oft lautstark unterhalten. Im Urlaub wo man entspannen will eher schwierig.
- Für die Reinigungsutensilien mussten die Reinigungskräfte teilweise in ein Apartment (Carrubbo), dass sie ohne Vorwarnung betreten haben.
Fazit: Wenn man sich darauf einlassen kann, das man auf dem Gelände um das Haus nicht allein ist und das Katzenproblem gelöst wird aufjedenfall einen Besuch wert.

Super vacances entre amis
Par où commencer tellement notre séjour était incroyable ! :)
La maison est superbe, avec un très grand espace et un jardin très bien entretenu. Il y a plusieurs appartements indépendants ce qui permet d’avoir une certaine autonomie et se retrouver au calme. La cuisine de la partie commune est très bien équipée.
Tous les matins la piscine était nettoyée par le personnel.
Notre bande d’amis gardera un excellent souvenir de ce séjour en Italie, en partie grâce à cette superbe maison.
Un grand merci à Carmela, Elena et Gioavanna qui sont super réactive et toujours à l’écoute.

Casa Galo
Wir, 14 Personen mit 7 Kindern, waren total begeistert von diesem Landgut. Es war wie für uns geschaffen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war die Woche viel zu kurz.
Gerne kommen wir di bald wie möglich wieder.

Fantastic family holiday
We had a fantastic stay af Casa Galo. There were 15 of us between the age of 5 and 82 years of age and everybody enjoyed themselves tremendously. Every family had their own apartment, but we mostly spent our time at the pool or on the tennis court. At night we ate our dinner under the canopy.
Elena and Giovanna are incredible hosts that responded very fast to all our questions. Giovanna even helped us find a local cook, Laura who came a few nights and prepared the most delicious Italian meals for us.
We highly recommend Casa Galo for a GREAT family holiday.

Great place
My family and I had a great stay. As others have mentioned the villa is divided into separate apartments of different sizes, visit the owners website for floorplans to the units. There is also a unit typically used as a common space which worked very well. The configuration meant if some of the family wanted to take a break, they could and if you were a group of friends you each had your own areas to escape to complete with your own full kitchen. The owners do rent out the individual units on their own so they are completely self-contained.
There are activities everywhere on the property from Bocce, table tennis, the real tennis court, to the very nice pool and deck area. There are racquets and balls for all the sports along with lots of pool toys.
As our trip drew closer, communication from the owners was great. We had three family members sending us messages at various times with different bits of information. All questions were answered quickly. The owners also make sure you are clear on the extra charges for air conditioning and linens. Note, these are payable in cash so have some euros in hand. Elena was on site most days and would check in with us to make sure everything was okay, her father would come by every so often with a smile and a hello and the cleaning staff were there first thing in the morning to clean the pool and make sure everything was in order for your day. There was no real issues we had and I'm sure if there had been anything it would have been quickly dealt with.
The owners also organized a chef to cook for us one night. This was a highlight of the trip and we would recommend anyone visiting to take advantage of the opportunity. The chef is top-notch. He is the head chef at a culinary school, and the Sicilian food he made for us was perfect.
If we're back to Sicily I happily stay at Casa Galo again.

Lovely holiday
We stayed at the property for 2 weeks with 3 generations of my family. Everyone had a lovely time. The pool is amazing and the house is in a great location.

Very nice stay
Very nice and welcoming stay, the house is perfect for several families. Each can gather and have their independence at the same time. Surroundings are very nice and sea is close. We definitely recommend.

Wonderful week
We had a wonderful weekend and the villa! Elena and Giovanna were very, very helpful before and during the stay and answered every question very fast. Additionally check in and check out were very easy.
The villa and the property were just beautiful. We were a group of 17 and enjoyed the privacy, the big rooms and kitchen (which was big enough even for our number of people), the sport opportunities and especially the pool area. The villa had everything we need: tennis rackets, beach umbrellas, table tennis rackets, basketball, ...
Every morning a nice lady came to clean and tidy up the pool area.
Also the beaches are also just 5-10min by car.
We will definitely try to come again!

Casa Galo in one word: MAGNIFICENT!
What a beautifull villa on a perfect location! We stayed in this villa for one week, with 5 families consisting in total of 10 adults and 9 children, varying in age from 0,5 to 10 years and we all had a really great time. The villa is layed out for 4 families (and 20 people), but by transferring part of the common space into 2 bedrooms we managed to comfortably house 5 families! The apartments are all very comfortable, clean, and foreseen with their own kitchen and bathroom. The villa is extremely well suited for children and has varias spots to sit down and relax. The tenniscourt on top of the swimming pool is an absolute bonus. The owners are very very kind and will do everything to make your stay a success. We could more than warmly recommended this villa to everybody and hope to return sometime in the future and if not we will for always keep the good memories of a fantastic week in our hearts!
You need a car, but that allows you to get to the nearby supermarkets (Eurospin/Conrad) within just 5 minutes and to easily get to Scicli, Ragussa, Donnalucata and other beautifull typical Sicilian villages and enjoy the local food, wine and last but not least the icecream!

Et skønt sted
Vi boede 16 mennesker ( bedsteforældre og tre børn med familier) i 4 lejligheder og den femte var fælles. Vi betalte 30.000 kr for det hele i påskeugen og havde den mest fantastiske ferie. Huset er renoveret på smukkeste vis, haven er mindst ligeså smuk og alt er meget velholdt. Selvom det var køligt morgen og aften i april måned brugte vi flittigt den rene pool. Casa Galo er perfekt til en sportsglad familie som vores. Der var ketchere og bolde til rådighed og alt fungerede. Vi plukkede citroner, appelsiner og dragefrugter. Der er en kort køretur til Donnalucata med cafeer og strand. Vi lavede mad i det store køkken og nød at spise hjemme hver aften.
Hvis noget var i uorden, blev det straks lavet. Alt i alt helt perfekt. Kan varmt anbefales til en familierejse.

Confortevole, bel arredo, ben attrezzata, bel post
Casa Vacanza Galó si trova in un bel posto in mezzo alla natura, vicino a tante belle spiagge sabbiose ma anche a bellissimi paese tra cui Scicli, Modica, Ragusa e Noto. I paesi più vicini sono Donnalucata sul mare e Scicli verso l'interiore. Andando sulla strada verso Donnalucata si trova un supermercato (circa 5-10 minuti di casa in machina) e ce ne sono altre due non lontano, sulla strada che porta a Cava d'Aliga (altro paesino sul mare, ad Est di Donnalucata). La casa è strutturata in 5 appartamenti , tre di cui hanno accesso diretto alla bella e ben tenuta piscina. Tutti gli appartamenti hanno spazio all'aperto con sedie, sdrai e tavolo. I bagni sono buoni e le cucine ben attrezzate. Io ci sono stata con un gruppo di 21 persone per 15 giorni e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Avevamo tutta la struttura per noi. La descrizione della casa era accurata e la casa era pulita al nostro arrivo. La proprietaria Elena è simpaticissima e molto efficiente a darci informazione su luoghi da visitare, ristoranti, eventi, ecc. . La signora Pina, anche lei simpaticissima ed efficiente, viene tutti i giorni il mattino presto per fare la pulizia ai giardini e piscina senza però farsi sentire. Il campo da tennis è ben tenuto e c'è anche un cestino/tabella di pallacanestro. A noi ci è piaciuto tantissimo le spiagge intorno a Donnalucata ma anche altre, passando oltre Sampieri, Marina di Modica e Pozzallo (come ad esempio Manganuco e Bove Marino). Scicli è molto bello e ci sono tanti ristoranti e negozi. Siamo andati a cena per tre volte al ristorante Pura Follia Rock N Roll, che si trova molto vicino a Casa Vacanza Galò dove si mangiano buonissime pizze ma anche della carne grigliata buonissima. Per fine, volevo solo dire che, anche se non è stato un problema perché il tempo è stato sempre molto bello e caldo, che se il gruppo occupa tutti i cinque appartamenti, non c'è uno spazio di rilasso comune all'interno. Però come ho detto, non credo che questo sia uno problema. Avendo la possibilità, ci ritorneremmo senza alcun dubbio! Grazie Elena e complimenti per la bellissima casa!

Great for a rest and play
We were a family of 15 and enjoyed the whole of Casa Galo'. The facilities are excellent for a quiet pastime or activities. The room were very comfortable. The pool (cleaned daily) with all the floats is great and safe for young kids. The beautiful tennis court with rackets and balls provided was a great way to work up an appetite and thirst. Two of us had the best room upstairs with a balcony and view of the sea.
The location is ideal for beaches, supermarket and Donnalucata has a good pizza takeaway.

Fantastisk sted, rent og hjelpsomme eiere
Vi var 4 familier (totalt 17 per) som leide hele huset i 2 uker i Juli 2017. Det var et perfekt hus for oss da hver familie fikk sin egen leilighet og I tillegg hadde vi en fellesleilighet hvor vi lagde mat sammen. Basseng, tennisbane, bordtennis, boccabane, griller, og diverse uteplasser var fint tilrettelagt og nødvendig utstyr var tilgjengelig.
Huset ligger nær Scicli, en kjempefin liten by og det er fine strender 15min fra huset.
Eier bor i den ene enden av huset. De ryddet og renset bassenget og var veldig behjelpelige.
Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.
