I was formally a hotelier, that I know what to expect. But... I impressed as soon as I got the check in counter. Koh/Khoo at front office. WOW! Greeted, faciltated and even walked me to the direction of the lift. Well ttained and better than many other 5 star hotels. Breakfast - walked in - not too large of buffet spread - low expectation. But again!!! All the staffs at the restaurant, treated the guests VERY well. I felt pampered... very courteous, indulging and well trained. All of them were good that I ddnt know who to give tips too. Great job AC by Marriot, Penang.

the apartment is completed with 3 bedroom, with huge space for one big family. the breakfast was nice, its offer decent menu and quality food. the bed was comfort and nice.

so far everything was nice. need variety of selection for breakfast. like more offer on western and local food.

Aircond. Was here last October - one of the rooms had aircond issue. This time - different room, same issue. Prolly hotel needs to service all of the aircond again.

Room very clean cozy, and pillows not too soft or hard, It just so comfortable. Location very near to few restaurants and the famous Kayu Nasi Kandar, just need to walk +-2mins

I was disappointed since no lift/elevator from parking level to lobby (not sure if available but hidden, i couldn't find) So those with big heavy luggage or special-need person, should consider to stop drop at hotel entrance.

We book 8 rooms for staff stay for supporting a factory shut down. The room were not ready by 3pm. The hotel staff request us to check in but without the room key (what a silly ask). The staff promise to contact us once the room ready but she didn't do so with the reason forget. We end up, some of our colleagues didn't stay at the hotel! What a mess up to our planning due to this unnecessary issue!!!

I had a wonderful experience at The AC Marriott Penang. This is perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. Every staff member i encountered, from the check-in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Near (walking distance) to restaurants (eg: Nasi Kandar, Pasta Port etc..), local shops and marts. Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues.

The family suite was simply marvelous with dining area, living area, an office area/room that also acts as a mini pantry with ironing board which also can be used as solat area. View was spectacular as it was sea facing with the 2nd Penang bridge. 20 mins to airport and with lots of shops around especially a 5 mins walk to kayu nasi kandar.

The fact that you have to take 2 different elevators to go to your unit but it was worth the hassle ☺️

the suite is everything! i love every minute being in the three-bedroom suite, the roomand the bathroom is clean and very comfortable
