One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Everything worked. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast lovely and the bed so comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel

The restorant staff weren’t the friendliest and it’s a shame that the beach transport stopped so early as we could go down to the beach for dinner but had to walk back up.

The hotel was beautiful.

The staff were quite rude. One evening we returned back to the hotel after a long day, we asked for desert in the restaurant and we were straight out refused! We were still within the serving time but still refused food because it didn't suit the restaurant, even the staff in reception and the bar and reception were shocked that we were refused but also didn't do anything about it! absolutely shocking service

Good breakfast with plenty of options and also gluten free bread on demand. Good size room. All employees were friendly and helpful.

No place to park the car. The car had to be parked on top of the sidewalk.

Nice and chilled for what we needed. pool very clean and easy to chill. breakfast was excellent. the room was good, but was facing the entrance and the car park which was not an issue but maybe a room facing the sea would have been a little better.

Not much that wasn't wrong, the phone in the room to reception didn't work but no issue as the was another one in the bathroom so could call for room service etc.

Good location, near to the beach, where there is a choice of restaurants. Great Breakfast, large choice and a great location to eat, over looking the pool area.

Shame the shuttle to beach stops at 7pm, would be nice if it was available later.

The pool, the cleanliness, the surroundings

.Had to pay an additional fee for using the hotels sunbeds at the beach, was not told this. Shower was never actually hot Food in the restaurant was average at best Guy on the main desk when checking in gave us no information about breakfast timings etc and when asked of there was a shop near by he said, 'yes we have shops' no further help given.

The privacy of the pool area.

rooms were not clean to their best ability. Tea mugs were not cleaned for our four day stay ever.

When we arrived our suitcase had been lost, we didn’t have anything apart from what we travelled in and our hand luggage. The hotel staff offered us robes from the spa to have something clean to change into, lent us an adapter to be able to charge our phones and were on hand to help us with whatever we needed. The food was lovely, the faculties were great and very clean. Thank you to all the staff.

Breakfast was great. very nice staff at the front desk. Room was a good size.

The housekeeping was TERRIBLE. Rubbish left, beds not made, no cleaning was done at all. No iron in the room and no option to borrow one. Had to pay £6 per shirt to be ironed and they still had creases! Shuttle to beach was slow and sometimes didnt show up at all. Had to pay for hotel beds at the beach. £20 A DAY just to use hotel beds... what a rip off! No gym at hotel, there is a gym at the sister hotel just a little walk away but you're not allowed to use it. For a supposedly 4* Hotel, this is a joke. I have visted Vale do Lobo every year for the last 10 years. I will not be coming back to this hotel.

good location, very clean rooms.

We arrived late and the extra bed was not in the room and took an hour to arrive (@11pm), the phone did not work so we could not order room service, the fridge was empty except 3 small bottles of water. Because we had told the porter who delivered the bed we were looking for room service he sent his colleague at midnight knocking on our door, waking us up and obviously the moment had passed… The room we had was in a small house set away from the main hotel, it was functional (VERY hard bed) but soulless. thankfully our stay was just for one night.
