Property is close to Wentworth Falls station, food is nearby and able to walk to various places of interest

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lovely old building. Free EV charging. Very nice food at the restaurant, particularly the pumpkin ravioli! Can get busy so you may need to book! Room 15 was comfortable and quiet with a nice modern bathroom. Location is an easy walk to train station and village shops. I would suggest a stop at Swartz Patisserie before or after a walk around Wentworth Falls Lake.

Room was small for a family room & abit pricey for what it was

we had room 1. bedroom area small but it had an area for working at , with tea and coffee facilities,between the bedroom and the enormous en-suite. Great shower, with nice shampoo etc, great quality bedding and towels. The food in the hotel was really good, and good value. The wines were excellent,they own the bottle shop on site which stocks a wide range of wines in both price and quality. The road noise might be bothersome to some so bring earplugs,sorted.

No real view, must have had at one point

The Grand View Hotel is located on the highway and has a cute charm about it. The location is about a 5 minute walk from the Wentworth Falls train station across the highway and there's a restaurant/bistro which has great pub food.

It is an older building so you can't expect luxury. What you get is a small bedroom and bathroom and for my purposes, that's all I needed.

The staff were all very friendly, in particular Brett and Margaret who both went out of their way to accomodate our needs.

Room had a few minor maintenance issues but was comfortable.

Restaurant was very good and staff helpful.

Great location for a short break in the Blue Mountains. The rooms and shared bathrooms were kept clean, and good options for heating the rooms on a chilly evening.

Rooms are very basic, we had no wardrobe or chest of drawers to store clothes, not even a hook on the back of the door to hang wet coats. I have never complained about hotel reception staff before, as I know they work hard, but there seemed to be a lack of training in basic customer courtesy skills here. Check in desk is in the bistro area next to the bar, and on arrival we were kept waiting while the receptionist finished what she was doing on the computer (three adults, three small children and all our luggage) in an area where people were trying to eat. There is an adjacent spacious hotel lobby, where we were taken after check-in: this would be better for checking in guests! When we went to book a table for evening meal on the second night, the young girl on the desk was very unsure how to do this, but eventually we were given a table in the Function Room. The food was ok, but the waitress service was very slow, and we were not told about the daily specials (we found out later). No checking back as to whether everything was ok at all during the meal, and the starter plates were not cleared away before the main course was served. Overall, good customer service was lacking.

The Hotel is clean and bright. We were really surprised with lovely new ensuite facilities. Usually old hotels have a ‘smell’ but this hotel is really clean. we also had dinner and had booked before hand, just as well because it was booked out, real value for money & convenient. Great quite firm bed in room which suits us. Also lots of good parking at Hotel.
